The left-wing blogosphere's outrage against ABC ["Boycott Fig Newtons!"] over its allegedly unfair questioning of Obama during Wednesday's debate has seeped over into the MSM in the form of Derrick Z. Jackson's Boston Globe column of this morning. While the headline moots the matter as a question "Tough questions or just plain bias?", there's no doubt of the answer in Jackson's mind. Just two paragraphs in, the columnist unleashes [emphasis added]:
"In some 1,600 words of transcript, Charles Gibson and George Stephanopoulos tried to eviscerate Obama in Philadelphia on Wednesday."

Somehow, I have a feeling that both Stephanopoulos and Gibson tried to save the Dims’ candidate (Obama) by putting out all possible garbage today, more than 6 months to the election, so that come November nobody care about it any longer. Now, the question is: does Obama have any other association with some loonies that we have not discovered yet?
Call the “waaambulance.” Did Gibson or Georgie hold up a Bible and ask them about it, like was done in one of the Republican debates? They asked legitimate questions. It’s going to be a long campaign season if the Obamaites cry foul everytime someone asks a hard question of their “man.”
He hasn't ever said anything interesting or original that I am aware of. Even someone as intellectually sterile and dishonest as Maureen Dowd will, on occasion, unload (an almost certainly borrowed) bon mot or express the slightest skepticism about the latest mainstream fad.
Derrick is the Boston Globe's house [Negro]. He makes the bow tied bum kissers feel OK about their hidden disdain for blacks. (If more of them would only avail themselves of publicly funded abortion "services"!)
In the service of his Ivy Leagued credentialed massas, Derrick will never step out of line. He always reflects perfectly their preconceived notions of what their grandparents called "the coloreds" are supposed to think and act. It must be a frustration to him and his massas, that at the retail level more blacks read (and agree with) Howie Carr than him. But his audience isn't the readership, it's the editors, his massas.

The bigger message here, should be a wake-up call to the 'Reason-capable'. It is good - and should be clarifying - to see these 'Obama devotees' up close and personal and realize their committment to his success and do hope more people see the larger warning signs here.

This could very well blow up in the media’s collective face. Poll and poll show that there is a “perceived” liberal bias within the media. It is fast approaching the point where what you are going to see is an all out assault on the average person’s sensibilities. Let’s face it, they’re not even trying to be subtle about it.
