(I don’t recall the name of the U.S. Supreme Court Justice who wrote this, but one in fact did).
The proposed amendment is too long and too wordy to be worth consideration. It would never pass.
I would directly re-write the First Amendment, inserting language that the followers of Muhammed were not recognized as deserving of its protections.
Yes, I WOULD do that. And I would have NO fear for the future of the country.
So long as the existing First Amendment provides cover for Islam to destroy us from within, I DO fear for the future of this country.

And a serious threat to America and the rest of the free world, much as Nazism was.
Fortunately, You do not get a vote as to what does or does not become a Constitutional Amendment.

Freedom can be a tricky principle, truth, right, issue.
I’d normally prefer to err on the side of the benefit of the doubt and grace for all comers.
However, Islam has shown it’s true teeth and satanic violent destructiveness to all I hold dear.
I no longer see any sanity in giving them any quarter whatsoever.
Our Constitution was not designed to insure our destruction.
Ignoring Islam could easily insure our destruction.
Treating Islam with kid gloves would likely easily insure our destruction if God didn’t have other plans already in place.
In any case, it’s a moot issue. The Globalists will not allow Islam to be hindered as they use it to help destroy all other religions only to then destroy it in favor of the global religion of worshipping the coming world ruler—satan incarnate.
The difference between Islamic terrorists and Irish terrorists (who were NOT Christian) is that Muslim terrorists act in obedience of their Koran/religious teachings, whereas those Irish terrorists acting in complete contradiction of Christian teachings.

Alas . . . there aren’t a lot of attractive options.
The US has for centuries banned numerous religious practices, e.g. virgin sacrifice. No court has reversed or, in my opinion, would DREAM of of reversing such bans.
Therefore, the fully Constitutional and precedent-oriented way to go about this is to pick out specific ''Islamic'' acts and practices that are unlawful already if not performed under the aegis of religion, and ban or otherwise make unlawful these assorted practices specifically in all cases.
Wouldn't be too difficult to persuade one hell of a lot of Islamists (a small redundancy, sorry) to boogie on out of here. Just a matter of picking the right practices to ban in order to annoy them sufficiently.
And in Utah they can teach the Book of Mormon in the schools? The Quran in Detroit? The Book of the Divine Crystal Gaea Goddess in California?
And who gets to choose what bible they read from? The Catholics and Jehovah's Witnesses don't use the same King James version as most Protestants do.
This is a book everyone should have.

I know it’s wiki, but there are some interesting points.
As I have said, the beliefs of the mohammedans are vile, but if you just glance to the left, you'll find many who believe Christianity is the same as mohammedanism. There are those who would enjoy seeing the head of the Catholic church cast in chains and dragged to the gibbet, give them power and no one is safe.
Get the ball rolling and it WILL NOT STOP.
Think people, use your reason and think! How many things in the constitution are used exclusively as intended and never abused or misinterpreted? You're falling into the trap of giving more power to your masters when he already holds you by the throat.
