GGG Ping.
To avoid too much notice you visit a renegade Nazi dentist hiding in Indonesia.
He fixes you right up, pulling your older gold filling in payment.
Sure, all makes sense.
Paleodentistry. And from the pearly whiteness, it looks like his teeth were capped, too!

That reminds me.. I need to go to the dentist in a couple of months.
I'm curious if there was any particular reason given for the refusal.
It’s Gollum That’s no filling. It’s the Ring!
all joking asside, hobbits existed? or is just some dumbass article?
My dentist is more scientific than that. Thankfully!
A CT scan...why not take an x-ray if they want a better look. I worked in a dental office for many years and my first thought upon reading the article was...take an x-ray if you really want to know. Then I notice in the last paragraph it says an x-ray has not been taken...well why not?
The Neandertal EnigmaFrayer's own reading of the record reveals a number of overlooked traits that clearly and specifically link the Neandertals to the Cro-Magnons. One such trait is the shape of the opening of the nerve canal in the lower jaw, a spot where dentists often give a pain-blocking injection. In many Neandertal, the upper portion of the opening is covered by a broad bony ridge, a curious feature also carried by a significant number of Cro-Magnons. But none of the alleged 'ancestors of us all' fossils from Africa have it, and it is extremely rare in modern people outside Europe." [pp 126-127]

Thanks Blam. Clubfoots, Stools, and Naugahydes are all known to have practiced prehistoric dentistry. ;') |
