Many scientists vehemently disagree with the political conclusion of man-made global warming. A little of what's out there---

U.S. Senate Report Debunks “Consensus” - Over 400 Prominent Scientists Dispute Man-Made Global Warming Admin, Thursday 20 December 2007 - 19:17:30 // comment: 1

The U.S. Senate has released a truly groundbreaking report that busts the Al Gore "consensus" myth over global warming: Over 400 Prominent Scientists Disputed Man-Made Global Warming Claims in 2007. The report is monumental in size and scope considering it's focus. We expect this report to be quoted by those disputing man-made global warming for years to come.

What follows is mostly excerpts from the report and Senate press release. The report pretty much stands on it's own merits. We believe this report to be an important piece of evidence showing that most of the hype about global warming is pure fabrication and crowd hysteria. Perhaps now the media will stop its policy of not admitting that there is even another side to the issue. We encourage everyone to read the entire press release and report, it is long but worth it.

Over 400 prominent scientists from more than two dozen countries recently voiced significant objections to major aspects of the so-called "consensus" on man-made global warming. These scientists, many of whom are current and former participants in the UN IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change), criticized the climate claims made by the UN IPCC and former Vice President Al Gore.

“Even some in the establishment media now appear to be taking notice of the growing number of skeptical scientists. In October, the Washington Post Staff Writer Juliet Eilperin conceded the obvious, writing that climate skeptics "appear to be expanding rather than shrinking."

Many scientists from around the world have dubbed 2007 as the year man-made global warming fears “bite the dust.” ”

“This blockbuster Senate report lists the scientists by name, country of residence, and academic/institutional affiliation. It also features their own words, biographies, and weblinks to their peer reviewed studies and original source materials as gathered from public statements, various news outlets, and websites in 2007. This new “consensus busters” report is poised to redefine the debate.”

“Many of the scientists featured in this report consistently stated that numerous colleagues shared their views, but they will not speak out publicly for fear of retribution. Atmospheric scientist Dr. Nathan Paldor, Professor of Dynamical Meteorology and Physical Oceanography at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, author of almost 70 peer-reviewed studies, explains how many of his fellow scientists have been intimidated.

“Many of my colleagues with whom I spoke share these views and report on their inability to publish their skepticism in the scientific or public media,” Paldor wrote. [Note: See also July 2007 Senate report detailing how skeptical scientists have faced threats and intimidation ”

One of many links to the above report is here.

Arctic sea ice (purple is the thickest):

Notice that the current sea ice is nearly equal to that in January of last year.

I don't for one minute believe "the supposedly conservative party...has bought this bullshit hook, line and sinker." They have glommed on for the lucrative ride with the exception of a few honest, thinking, elected conservatives who are not in the business of lining their pockets at the expense of the taxpayers or the destruction of the economy.

Lucrative, yes. But it is also being used by some to bring about global governance and massive wealth redistribution (via Cap-and-trade)--just a convenient method to achieving an end goal.

I say it’s time to sue Gore and all the other perpetrators of the global warming hoax. It’s propaganda, pure and simple. And our children are being fed this garbage. GIGO.

I don't "blame" the libs for this hoax. It is expected that socialists will use alarmism to advance their cause. It's right out of the marxist playbook.

That doesn't change the fact that a lot of capitalists saw $$$ in getting in on the scam.

True dat. And the people who believe it just aren’t that intelligent. As my wife would say, they’re so dumb they’d take their brain out and play with it if they could. :o)

There is a reason people are gearing up to fight over the new land that is emerging in Greenland. They are not fighing over imaginary ice-field.

You must not have heard that the Vikings grew grain and grapes on "Greenland" during the 11th century. Only 1000 years ago the area's climate was much milder.

As the region thaws archaeologists will be able to learn more about their settlements. For now many areas are buried under ice and snow.

Climate change happens. We do not cause it nor can we prevent it. But if it's easier to believe the GW hype don't let facts get in the way of your blind faith.

"But it is also being used by some to bring about global governance..."

True, but the initial goal is to destroy this country's economy while lining their pockets, creating chaos and making it easy to destroy the foundation on which the country was built. Once that's accomplished, the global governance will come in one fell swoop as we are the ONLY thing standing in the way of the achievement of their ultimate goal.

Some say that if you limit amount of CO2 that you release in the year, you can prevent the Polar Caps from melting.

Katie Couric, is that YOU?

Yup. Michael Milken cronies were instrumental in devising the scheme and established the Chicago Climate Exchange. This model was created over a decade ago. They are raking in big bucks on carbon trading and salivating at the opportunity of a cap-and-trade program being implemented on a massive scale, as touted by our presidential candidates.

Age of the dinosaurs?

All of the things we use as fuel aren’t randomly obtained from nowhere. We’re merely putting them back in the atmosphere to continue the circle of nature.

I gotta believe Newt, McQueeg, Bush etc have seen the light. ie The Climate Change gambit is so powerful it cannot be beaten so they are just joining. Given the DC elite’s (I not longer see the Rats as the true enemy of freedom) near total control of big media and the education system their propaganda machine is unstopable. These elite’s genuine belief that the planet cannot support our present population numbers, and certainly not more and more and more, humanity can not be allowed to enjoy the sort of human freedom our Founding Fathers gave us.

This mind set is the gate to the hell Orwell warned us about. “The Abolition of Man” C. S. Lewis wrote about. The handwriting is on the wall and it is undeniable. It might be fun however to take one more political stab at returning freedom to America. Seems crazy considering we’ve so thoroughly we’ve trashed the Constitution already.

The GOP must be replaced. I was hoping Dr. James Dobson was going to do it a few months back but he chickened out. Dobson could take the entire Evangelical Christian coalition out of Republican Party and form a new Third Party. Which would soon become the new Conservative Party and the GOP would die a swift death. Dobson could do it. I can’t think of a single other person who could.

Go ahead, sneer. I’m not saying this True Conservative party would be big enough to beat the Rats. Probably would not in National elections. What it would do is destroy the GOP. THAT would be very much worth doing.

Traitors need to be hung. If they get away with it people completely lose faith. America cannot survive long without an honest conservative political voice. Right now we have none.

Previously we touched on the political climate engendered by environmentalism and its exploitation by those who want a new world order and believe this is achieved by shutting down the industrialized nations. Chief among these is Maurice Strong who said in 1990 “What if a small group of these world leaders were to conclude the principal risk to the earth comes from the actions of the rich countries?...In order to save the planet, the group decides: Isn’t the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse? Isn’t it our responsibility to bring this about?” He told Maclean’s magazine in 1976 that he was “a socialist in ideology, a capitalist in methodology.” Presumably this explains the duplicity in making a great deal of money as an industrialist. He also warned that, “...if we don’t heed his environmentalist warnings, the Earth will collapse into chaos.” Unfortunately, the world listened and the chaos is being caused by policies that evolved from his actions.

Stephen Hawkings is one of the most brilliant minds of ALL Time. Is he in on the hoax? Only ones who do not believe its real is Conservative-Talk-Radio-Verbahideen and Fox News Anchor. I would take Stephen Hawkings word over Sean Hannity, if you don’t mind.
There will be flood. Be careful when you drink other people’s milkshake!

Strange that this muddled thinking based entirely on hysteria would pop up now.
Very wise and smart people throughout history have been monumentally wrong. Quite often. The thing is that nobody wants to talk about it out of embarrassment or selective memory. Yes, even Stephen Hawkins.

I would certainly believe Mr. Hawkins in matter of quantum physics and theoretical quantum and celestial mechanics, black holes. But never about food production, climate or social dynamics. That is simply not his field.

This "argument from higher authority" gets really silly sometimes. Wilbur Wright actually said at one point that man would not be able to fly for a thousand years. Would I believe him over Sean Hannity? Depends on when you asked me.

Small Interesting example:
