Here we go.
I’m not sure what they mean by monitored. Do they mean they must have someone with them and the child?
susie
They can only pray in a Gentile-free room?
What kind of religion is this?
They have to pray alone?
They sure didn’t mind getting a Welfare check from Gentiles.
Read the second comment down after the article.
April 21, 2008 CBS Morning Show
Three male members of the sect said in an interview aired on CBS’s “Early Show” Monday that they would cooperate in DNA testing if it would help them get the children back.
“Whatever we need to do to get them back in their peaceful homes,” a man identified only as Rulan said.
State prosecutors have argued that the FLDS church encourages underage marriages and births, subjecting children to sexual abuse or the imminent risk of abuse. “Rulan” said sect members are reconsidering whether girls under 18 should have sex with adult men.
“Many of us perhaps were not even aware of such a law,” he said. “And we do reconsider, yes. We teach our children to abide the law.”
So there it is, folks.
“.....will not let them pray without being monitored.”
The motion should have used the word “prey”.....
What the heck is a DNA test going to prove when THEY ARE ALL RELATED!!!
Permanent Welfare checks for life and life and life and life and.....
Many of us perhaps were not even aware of such a law, he said.
I thought that was part of the reason Warren Jeffs was in prision?
I think it was kind of the judge to let them stay with their children. They may now lose that privilege.
Matthew 6:6
But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
But what does he know, he’s just Jesus, the Savior of the world and God’s only son.
I can’t believe people are complaining about anybody wanting to pray privately.
I thought on one of the shows they said only 6 mothers opted to stay in the safe house with the children and the rest returned to the compound?
Perhaps I am somewhat convinced to a certain extent by that apparently, in a manner of speaking, mostly forthright expression of sorts, properly understood.
So to speak.
I’m sorry, i’ve lost a reference. Could you point me to the article that tells us how much welfare these particular mothers have been collecting?
It will prove that a 7 year old is the biological son of a 20 year old woman and a 50 year old man, for example.
On a scale of 1-10, your post was an eleven. LOL.
I suppose they are afraid they will try to coach the kids on what to say to CPS or the judge, or whatever. It’s probably pretty SOP for child abuse cases. I have always found that I could pray anywhere/anytime with anyone who chooses to listen listening.

AP do you have any links to where it has been stated they received welfare from the State of Texas via the Lone Star Card program?.. I would think they would have to have some documentation to be approved for this system such as birth certificates, SS# or something. Texas has used checks in a number of years and instead uses an electronic debit card.
I know that if they get this it can be a large sum going into the Ranch every month. Thanks for you info if you have any.
Also, refusing a DNA test when one is not accused of a crime is a right protected under the 5th Amendment. Some judge and prosecutor who are out on a fishing expedition should not be allowed to cause people to incriminate themselves for unknown offenses.
Thx
