My colleague Beth Frerking sends word that Miss South Carolina 2007 has come on board Team McCain.
Ashley Zais, a recent Wofford grad, will serve as McCain's intern coordinator at the campaign's headquarters.
She met McCain last year when the senator gave a speech at South Carolina's Newberry College, where her father is president. Mitchell Zais, a retired Army general, and McCain became friendly after Zais published a piece in 2006 critical of how Rumsfeld's Pentagon had handled the war.
The younger Zais, it should be made clear, is NOT the same South Carolina beauty queen who has become a YouTube legend for her painful flub of a paegant question.
SC ping! (Don’t drool on your keyboard!)
Now we would find out if “True Conservatives” are straight! LOL!
Go ahead! Bash this move!!!!
NOT guilty!!!
I have found my write-in candidate .
“intern coordinator”
where do i sign up
Woof — Woof — Woof !!!! :-)
Her father is president of Newberry College.
Don’t see her having too many problems signing up interns.
Well “Wonkette” says she’s evil so she can’t be that bad, right?
PING!!!
One thing about SC, we got hot chicks!!!
I must give it to McCain, he has a damn good taste in women.
Her dad is also a Bridadier General (retired).
RINO We could Love! ;o)
Great eye candy, but folks better start taking a look at the people who will be in a McCain administration. It will come from the sycophants currently working on his campaign.
This chick is the equivalent of Bush’s Julie Myers, and will get some important job that will affect YOUR life. Juan Hernandez will probably be the next head of ICE or Homeland Security. Fallon the China Lover will probably be at Defense.
The dirty little secret of political campaigns is that the people on these campaigns who aren’t otherwise employable end up getting the high level appointments. McCain has not surrounded himself with Hall of Fame candidates. In fact, you have to go back to Reagan to see an administration staffed with quality people who had already proved themselves elsewhere.
That's good to know, before I put up the "I'd Hit It!" pic.
McCain is too uninformed and has no concern for this country. I heard he became muddled and confused on George S’s show - such as the “anti-anything” statement and contradicting himself.
That video never gets old for this U.S. American.
