It’s what lawyers do. Agree to rules and then when you are losing, appeal the rules, argue that new rules would be better for everyone, suggest that the rules violate other rules, complain that the rules harm the greater good, lie, cheat and lie again, because it doesn’t matter how heinous the thing you advocate, the act of being an advocate is good.
