I never had the Roy Rodgers roast beef. I always had their fried chicken, which was the best fast food chicken that I ever tried. Better than Popeye's, better than Church's, and certainly better than Kentucky Fried Rat!

Arby’s roast beef is hardly beef. It tastes like roast beef (artificially flavored).
I’m with ya FRiend, and a big Euro-cross-bar on the Kentucky Fried Rat! LOL
Wendy’s do not toast their hamburger buns. That has always been a sore spot for me.
I worked at an original Arby’s (unit #54, in Ft. Wayne, IN.) in high school in the mid to late 60s. They used inside top round back then and the best was the one that spun in the chains in the glass display out front. We always nibbled off that bad boy when it came out. Damn that was tasty beef! No more...SSZ
The best roast beef in our area is at Hardees. They top the Arby’s here for taste. Excellent stuff! Actually, around here most of the Hardees have great food, but I know down south where I have family, they would rather die than eat at Hardees.
Have you had Bojangles fried chicken? They’re mostly a southeast chain (based out of Charlotte, IIRC). Otherwise, the best “fast food” chicken I’ve had is from Bill Miller BBQ in San Antonio. Doesn’t do you much good outside of South Texas, though.
