I don’t normally commment on these threads, but I’d like to say a few things.

First, these are discouraging times, with the Republicans betraying the base the way they have been doing. It’s not easy to fight it, but fight we must, and FR is more needed than ever.

Second, we need more people donating. If you can’t afford much, every little bit helps.

Third, it would be great if all the regular donors who support the site would consider upping their contributions, so we can get these fundraisings over with more quickly. I did that myself a couple of cycles ago.

I hasten to add that these are purely personal observations. Nobody put me up to it. I’m not even sure I should be saying it, but it’s what I think.

No!!! you are kidding!!!

Alligators (caymans) have gotten out of hand since Panama took over. Recently, something new is happening. A cayman had a person for lunch the other day in the area of Miraflores.

I didn’t realize this until a few weeks ago…when we had the Canal Zone, men were sent out at night to shoot the larger caymans. They would gage their size from the space between their eyes. Flashlights were use to shine them out in the lake and Chagres River.

He is Greg Craig, that shyster lawyer who is great buds with the Clintons and sent Elian Gonzalez back to Cuba.

A mango tree lawyer is a wonderful West Indian expression. These are shysters who setup their “offices” under mango trees near government buildings and snarl into their web unsuspecting folks who seem lost and need of help.

Mango tree lawyers are the lowest of low.
