John McCain FOUGHT against Marxists. M-16 in hand. That North Vietmanese missile shot his plane down for a reason - he was on the other side. Room with rats in Hanoi. The whole 9 yards.

While no one can take that away from him, that was forty years ago. My grandfather was a star athlete back in college, but now he sits around in a wheelchair drooling on himself. I'm hardly going to pick for center in our next game of basketball.

Yep, I like the idea of JC Watts.

However, Watts will be the front runner for POTUS after McCaniac and that will kill all the racists liberals, which is most of the Dimocrat Party.

Yeah, but your grandfather dreams about playing football.

Not about drooling.

It matters very much, what people do in their youth.

It matters more, we respect them, for real accomplishments.

Vote for the one, who is least dangerous.

-The enemy you can't see is always more dangerous than the enemy you can. We know to watch Hillary or Obama. MacCain will follow his established history of betrayal and shiv us in our collective rib cage as he smiles and says, "My friends".

Bob Barr is an ACLU/NAMBLA supporter.

Are you kidding? I knew about the ACLU, but supporter of the Man Boy Love Association?

I’m not thrilled with [fill in the blank], but McCain has always seemed to be a pretty solid guy.

I don’t agree.

McCain is likely to be a (far) better president, and do more good for the GOP, than most believe.

I wish we could have gotten a more inspiring candidate.

But McCain has his qualities.

And we know, he’s a genuine patriot, he’s not play-acting. That matters. A lot.

Go ahead and wave your arms and get out all your frustration - this poster felt the same way.

But then once you let it all out, please think, and do what’s best for America.

Thanks for considering.

All three major choices for POTUS are very dangerous choices, and this is the continuing problem with the POTUS race. This country will truly be in trouble no matter who the next POTUS is. Amnesty for illegal immigrants “to the max” as well as allowing illegal immigrants to legally vote in all future U.S. elections will truly finish off both the Republican Party and all of U.S. conservatism. Good-bye U.S. capitalism, forever! What a “mess” that’s truly coming this country’s way very soon.

It matters more, we respect them, for real accomplishments.

And I do respect MacCain for his patriotism, even as I recognize that his subsequent thirty-five year history of betrayal renders him completely unacceptable to me as a candidate for the Presidency.

Few crumbs? Is that what it's called supporting the troops? McCain is about a bazillion times better than Obama/Hillary on so many issues.

That’s an unfortunate, but factual statement.

Please stop confusing your opinion with fact.
Because thats what it is. - your opinion.

No vote for McCain or anyone else is not a vote for Hillary or obama.

Or, if you prefer, not voting for one candidate who is two inches above pond scum, is not a vote for a candidate who is one inch above pond scum.

and those are the facts.

Your refusal to vote for McCain - for whatever reason, is a vote for the two Marxists.

Nonsense. It is none of the above.

So, McCain actually carried an M-16? If so what unit was he in when he did so?

When you vote for a Republican or Democrat for President you are actually voting for a slate of electors pledged to that candidate.

If you write in a candidate's name will your vote go to those electors?

I don't know, but some states have "antifusion" laws.

If McCain runs on the Republican, Conservative and Right to Life tickets in those states those votes won't be added together, and he'll in essence be running against himself.

About half the states ban fusion outright, and some have measures that limit or prevent it indirectly.

Here are the states that don't (according to one source): Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Mississippi, New York, South Carolina, Vermont.

It's no accident that third parties are so prominent in New York (and sometimes in Connecticut and Vermont) politics.

“Write-in fusion” is allowed in some states that don't allow fusion on the ballot. That may be because it doesn't have much effect.

If your idea catches on, though, Democrats will be looking for a lot of people named "John McCain" to come forward and claim those write-in votes for themselves.

You won’t be able to fight them. They will have a working majority in Congress. And no don’t think we will take back Congress in 2010 either. That’s wishful thinking. The reality is it’s McCain where you will get more than half a pie or Obama/Hillary where you will get absolutely squat.
