There is a minor problem with applying statistical readings from a large general population (the 50/50 rule for males and females born) to a closed population such as exists in this case ... the men might be more prone to sire females than males thus the number of males may be low because the men are more prone to ire females ... 'the sex of the child is more a fathering trait than a mothering trait, gamete-wise.'

Sadly, the Lawrence v Texas case decided for the homosexual degenerates does have implications regarding polygamy, and as we see polygamy in this case has its origins in Mormonism. So, the issue is indirectly related to religion though the initial protection of these ranch children is not a religious issue ... future dealings with the issues of polygamy and human trafficking will be tied to religious 'doctrines'. One need only look at the Muzzie polygamy and abuse to see there is a wreck up ahead if this issue of polygamy and enslavement is to be properly dealt with.

That whole compound began with Jeffs and another guy. All the people there were hand picked. They are all offspring of a very few men. Nieces? They are all nieces. How about daughters and granddaughters? That group is line bred, generation after generation after generation. Research “line bred” so you understand.

I am not saying this personally as “you” but “you all” should get yourselves prepared for the verdict when it is revealed. Its gonna be the making of another movie.

> And not to throw the mothers under the bus, this is also about slavery. I have no problem with consenting adults, male and female doing whatever they want. If these compounds were open and people could leave and join at will, OK, weird, but not my business. But then you have children being born into this. The issue is that for these to be what they are and work, total control by a smaller group over the majority must exist. Which is what makes it slavery and evil.

Totally agree. Let us hope and pray that the law allows the proper prosecution of the responsible individuals -- any and all who enforced or willingly cooperated -- and wipe this scourge out. Then go after the others like it.

BTW, since this case really has nothing to do with the legit Mormon religion, I want to be very clear that I have no quarrel with them or any other legal religion, and in fact will defend their right to whatever beliefs and legal practices they engage in, no matter how weird I personally think they are. This is not a religious persecution. It is the legal shutting down of a child rape prison.

It's true that the father's chromosomes determine the sex of the offspring.

But surely you're not prepared to argue that the FLDS men are XXXXY genetic oddities (extra X chromosomes sufficient to explain the skewed ratio of males to females).

Normal men are XY, meaning a roughly 50/50 ratio of offspring. Yes, male sperm are slightly less road-worthy compared to females, but only a percent or so.

Most male genetic oddities are XYY (extra Y chromosome) -- that argues for more male offspring, not less.

In any case, nothing other than murder or institutionalized murder or ostracism can account for the incredibly skewed ratio of males to females seen in the FLDS.

The simplest explanation is most often the correct one. The old men got rid of the competition for the young girls. Are we surprised?

You are exactly right about other compounds. One notable group is the Mexican Mennonites. They are forming several compounds in Southern Kansas which do not vary much from this Texas group.

They are obviously inbred. They resist any formal education. They resist any TV, radio or outside influence. The child death rate is very high, there are scads of retarded and deformed children. The stature of the people is very small, more evidence of inbreeding. In a culture of six foot tall people, five foot tall people stand out. Especially when they dress different, speak a foreign language (Mexican or German) and live in compounds.

One other thing then I’m outta here.

WELFARE—THEY ARE ALMOST ALL ON WELFARE. The FLDS cannot support themselves, and they are major users of welfare everywhere they go. I am thinking that because they are all “unemployed” and receive welfare,that the state feels that they have a larger role to play in some of these decisions.

I actually did think about that—— but even on the lowest end, ~~100 males are missing....on the average birth rate stat, 300 are missing.

Either way, someone’s not there who should be.

Fifty year old men grooming prepubescent girls to become their wives as soon as those children can bear children is a crime.

While in essence brilliantly said, Muhammed would question the wisdom of that statement, and call you an infidel!

“This is about sexual slavery and raping children. To paint the shutdown of this sexual prison as religious persecution is bullsh!t. “

Yep! And some here want to get all melodramatic and claim this is just State tyranny and remember Waco. Well, if stopping child rape isn’t a function of the State then I don’t know what is. These idiots are the same people as NAMBLA (North American Man/Boy Love Association) who think a “consenting” child enjoys sex and the State should say nothing of it.

Like you, I am convinced many boys are ‘missing’. I wonder if there is any way to do DNA testing on the ‘boys’ being employed by the contractors associated with this cult in several states?... Might find that many boys have been farmed out for cheap labor ... didn’t mean to impugn your questions on the missing boys issue since I would agree many are missing from the ranch population.

Sincerely,
It’s more than child rape. I posted the other day that if you know anything about BDSM behaviors, this is very much like a DOM with a mass of unwilling (unknowing) Subs. Every aspect of the women’s lives are controlled-— their hair, underwear, garments, how they comport themselves. How they address their ‘masters’, how they have no freedoms and how everything they do is by the will of their ‘owners’.

Just sub prairie dresses and Elvis hair with leather and dog collars and you have the same mindset....except they picked one that looks sweet and tame over scary. And a lot of the men’s sexual satisfaction comes from this control, as much as from the sex act itself.

Add handing over girls when they reach fertility and you’ve added a twerk that even the most twisted of the BDSM’ers would never sanction.

Oh, great. Sick, perverted, evil, and LEECHES to boot.

Any remotely intelligent and sane society would have shut this down long ago. They're poisoning the land they leech off of. Granted, the kids under 18 may be recoverable with therapy and a good loving normal home; but the rest are most likely beyond the bounds of what any reasonable society should support.

Talk to each of the FDLS members, give 'em a choice to change their ways fly right. Then if they don't want to straighten up, take 'em out back and shoot 'em, along with the other incorrigibles who can't seem to avoid killing, raping, and imprisoning innocent people as a way of life.

Now I'm outta here too...

Absolutely it is a mess. The 16 year old loose custody? Yes, that is a hard one, but who is going to support her and her 4 children?

The sad part is we the taxpayers will no matter what if they are split up we will if they are kept together we will

Honestly,
the easiest way would be to advertise for voluntary DNA tests by anyone who was a displaced member/boy. Also, getting testimony from these young men (and grown men) would be very interesting and another piece of a large puzzle.

When the Nazis came for the communists,
I remained silent;
I was not a communist....

When the FLDS men came for girls in Celestial Marriage to rape;
You remained silent;
You were not raped.

When the FLDS took children from natural mothers and fathers;
You remained silent;
They were not your children.

Texas came for the child raping polygamist organized criminals;
You spoke out for the FLDS;
Why not speak out for the FLDS victims.

Only enough that I understand what you're saying. Never tried it, but there's plenty about it on the interweb...

Geez, that sorta completes the picture, doesn't it? Holy cow.

I need to go do something else for a while, something that makes me feel cleaner... like maybe mucking out the pig stalls (no joke).

“That group is line bred, generation after generation after generation. Research “line bred” so you understand.”

When you start thinking of the Mendelian results of “line bred” inbreeding for 150 years what it means is multiple multiple instances of the expression of recessive traits. I don’t know how you would tell parentage. And it’s possible you have the same Y chromosome for the entire group. Much less the same X chromosome.
