Obama admitted to exchanging ideas with Ayers on an irregular basis but did not say what those ideas were.
Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama tried to deflect a question about his relationship with terrorist Bill Ayers by saying that he “engaged in detestable acts 40 years ago when I was 8-years-old” and that he was now a professor and a neighbor. The real issue is whether Obama shares Ayers’ communist views. Obama admitted to exchanging ideas with Ayers on an irregular basis but did not say what those ideas were. But we know that Ayers, rather than just being a 1960s “radical,” was a member of a Marxist-Leninist communist group.
The Weather Underground, or Weathermen, wasn’t just home-grown and domestic in nature, although it had evolved from the so-called Students for a Democratic Society (SDS), which laid siege to college campuses and tried to take over administration buildings. Their openly proclaimed goal was world communism and they had links to hostile foreign powers.
“We’re revolutionary communists,” Ayers himself said in 1969. The FBI said that the Weather Underground had more contacts abroad than the Moscow-controlled Communist Party USA.
Which brings up another so far unmentionable aspect of Obama’s background?the role of his childhood mentor, Communist Party member Frank Marshall Davis. This is the hard-core Soviet apologist who filled Obama’s head full of anti-American thoughts at a tender age.
About Ayers, Obama said that he’s not somebody he exchanges ideas with “on a regular basis.” What ideas? And does that mean he communicates with him on an occasional basis? We need more questions and answers.
But in a posting on the far-left Huffington Post website, Ayers’ brother, Rick Ayers, accused Senator Hillary Clinton of McCarthyism for daring to comment on Obama’s ties to this communist terrorist .

It’s hard to disagree, in general.
The fact that Bill Ayers is a professor today should be even more insulting to not only Obama, but to everyone who is aware of that fact.
Ayers is still screwing the American public, getting paid by the taxpayers and indoctrinating young heads filled with mush..... That is truly despicable, IMO.

It’s important to notice that Obama uses the present tense—he doesn’t currently exchange ideas with Ayers on a regular basis. He may well have done so in the past, but stopped before his Presidential campaign. Shades of Bill Clinton’s attention to the tense of “is.”
I agree. If I was a student or alumnus I would either transfer out or refuse to support the University of Illinois until he is removed. I realize that he's tenured, but I would make that university bear the brunt of the American people's wrath for ever hiring him in the first place. There must be a lot of conservatives from that region. Isn't the University of Ill. in Champaign? And I wouldn't care that he's at the Chicago campus, it's the same university.

Obama’s attempt to defend or excuse his relationship with Ayers is as weak as you would expect from an Affirmative Action Harvard Alumni.
Ayer’s act of terrorism - was 40 years ago..
However - Ayer’s was as recently as 2001 taped stating he had no remorse and was sorry only that he wasn’t more successful in doing more damage or killing more people with their own bombings...
Now then — Obama is a CURRENT friend and allowed Ayers host political fund gathering events at the Ayres home...
THAT is a current PERSONAL relationship with an unremorseful terrorist and communist.
To me — it seems Obama has far too many relatives, friends and foreign supporters whom I hold in contempt and regard very suspiciously....
A man is KNOWN by the company he keeps...
Obama, however, has a real streak of violent, revolutionary associates. It would be interesting to hear their take on Obama’s buddies, but I suspect they would be pretty excited about the possibility of BHO fracturing the country in some profound ways. Of course, short term foreign policy is one thing, but the Chinese always take the long view and long term, weakening the nation by splitting it into racial and economic groups would really change global politics for decades to come.

I have wondered that myself and intend to ask my son who is a history major exactly how communism is being defined now days.
Obama’s resume has always shown him as an “organizer in his early years in politics. My parents were confronted by an “organizer” during the Mc Carthy Era. I remember them destroying a book by this individual and him being politely disinvited from our home.
I also seem to remember “organizers” in the movie Dr. Zhivago”
Obama: communist, socialist, racist.
