Re: Obama's Numbers [John Hood]

Rich, I'm told that a new Survey USA poll for a NC television station today will put Clinton within five points of Obama. So, yeah, assume a roomful of scaredy cats over at Obama HQ.

With about 50% of the registered democrats in NC being black, if Fauxbama can’t win NC rather handily... I’d say its much over for him.

Not that he could win a general election anyway... but still.

I agree.

Hillary is a centrist and might very well win ... esp against McCain. Obama’s going down the drain now.

We want to run against Obama!

Yep, no matter how much we despise McPain, the facts remain that over 50% of the country detest and claim that they would NEVAH vote for the harridan.

I agree.

If he chooses a liberal as a VP, we're all screwed. And playing a game of darts to elect a president.

Obama LIED today big time! Notice in the clip he could not look up while lying about denouncing Wright.

And Wright has even said that Obama has to lie about distancing himself becuase that is what policians do. They are still on the same wavelength.

I think Obama expected Wright would have been more discreet. But they think the same way.

If Hillary becomes the nominee, a majority of blacks are going to be outraged that Obama was robbed. Hillary can't win without their vote.

I can hear the two reverends playing the "race card" at the dim convention. You are correct about the blacks not supporting hillary. There have been a number of callers to the "right wing" talk shows expressing their disgust with her. Most will either sit out or vote for McCain.

Here in Austin, there are several regular [black] callers to the Morning Show and every BO supporter has said they will NOT vote for HRC. Most don't like X-42 being called the "first black president" either.

Hillary can win. People already know her foibles. They know she is a liar and has dirty hands ... and still they vote for her.

Obama is very vulnerable. People are just getting to know this guy and some are scared at what they are seeing.. Rightly so.

History, personal history. When I voted for clinton, twice, I hated her guts. Everybody I knew hated her guts. She is throughly despised.

If SurveyUSA Is On Target, We’re Seeing a Dramatic Shift

After seeing the Survey USA poll showing Hillary within 5 percent of Obama in North Carolina, I decided to go back to see how that firm had done in recent Democratic contests.

In Pennsylvania, Survey USA’s last poll had Hillary 50, Obama 44. The final numbers in the Keystone State were 54.6 percent to 45.4 percent.

In Ohio, Survey USA’s last poll had it Hillary 54, Obama 44. That almost nailed it, as the final numbers there were 54.2 percent to 44.1 percent.

In Texas, Survey USA’s last poll had Obama ahead, 49 to 48. Hillary won that state, but it was indeed close, 50.9 percent to 47.4 percent. They had Hillary two points too low, and Obama about 1.5 percent too high.

So while Survey USA is the only one putting North Carolina in single digits, their track record lately suggests we shouldn’t expect them to be too far off the final results. Also note that Survey USA puts Hillary ahead in Indiana by 9 percent.

Relax. She can’t win enough delegates. Super delegates dont have the guts. A very damaged Obama will be the nominee or else there will be rioting in the streets of Denver and elsewhere.

You are a man of great vision.

I'm not voting for president this time around. Mcpain makes my stomach roll and I'd cut off my hands before I'd vote for the beast, and obamassiah ain't even on my radar.

That woman is truly hated. I think a lot of people would be surprised just how much. If it comes down to man to man between her and Mcpain, it's his unless his choice of VP knocks him out of it.

Rush is using Ms. Clinton like a man with Montezuma’s Revenge uses toilet paper.

Uh, Rush is promoting Clinton's campaign. Remind me not to shake hands with him.

Hillary hasn’t won.
Operation Chaos is meant only to contribute to the Democrats’ chaos.
It is really only successful if both candidates lose.

We want them both to overstay their welcome and have a big fight on the Convention floor for superdelegates, for seating Florida and Michigan...
Obama has taken a really hard hit, but he’s not down yet.
And Hillary is still going to be behind no matter what.

The question is if the boy Messiah believes the nomination is his and is going to fight Hillary for it, or if he’s going to step aside “for the good of the Party.”

Obama has come quite a long way and he knows if he can’t survive this primary then he’ll never get a second chance. Perhaps he believes in his own symbolism enough to fight to the bitter end.

I know Hillary does.

A bad idea that did not consider the consequences. It's intention means nothing now.

Actually, we are both off, though you are closer than I am.

Its 38% according to the state board of elections.

Still with identity politics ruling the Democratic party, and FAUXBAMA having nearly 40% of the registered democrats in his “indentity” he should be spanking HillBilly.. if he loses NC, its going to be difficult for the DNC not to “select” HillBilly as the candidate, which will of course fracture the party this cycle horrifically.

McGovern may have pulled better numbers than the D’s this election.

I just know things. I was predicting McCain as nominee last summer. ;)

You maybe correct but I think Hillary has a much better shot of winning than Obama does against McCain.

Indeed. Sharpton has already put the DNC on notice that Obama WILL be the nominee. If the Lawyercrat party backrooms Evita into the nomination, it will be a Republican dream.
