Weather Channel's Cullen Hopes to Push Global Warming Agenda on Weather.com

If you haven’t had your fill of global warming alarm, there could be even more coming to the Internet.

Dr. Heidi Cullen, The Weather Channel’s “climate expert,” according to Weather.com, and host of “Forecast Earth,” was a panelist at the forum “Covering a Changing Climate: The Media Challenge” held at Harvard University in Boston, Mass., on April 30. She told the audience she was looking to use the Internet – primarily Weather.com and Google Earth – to add visual elements to her message.

“[I] split my time between The Weather Channel and this think tank in Princeton and one of the things we’ve been trying to do is work with Google Earth essentially. And for me, coming from The Weather Channel, the most powerful tool that exists is Weather.com and you type in your zip code and you get a forecast out five days.”

"...you type in your zip code and you get a forecast out five days."

Which is wrong 90% of the time.

I'm considering changing professions. I want to be a TV weather guy. Where else can you get paid 6 figures to F*** up all the time?!

Weather Channel Founder Blasts Network; Claims It Is ‘Telling Us What to Think’
TWC founder and global warming skeptic advocates suing Al Gore to expose ‘the fraud of global warming.’

The Weather Channel has lost its way, according to John Coleman, who founded the channel in 1982.

Coleman told an audience at the 2008 International Conference on Climate Change on March 3 in New York that he is highly critical of global warming alarmism.

“The Weather Channel had great promise, and that’s all gone now because they’ve made every mistake in the book on what they’ve done and how they’ve done it and it’s very sad,” Coleman said. “It’s now for sale and there’s a new owner of The Weather Channel will be announced – several billion dollars having changed hands in the near future. Let’s hope the new owners can recapture the vision and stop reporting the traffic, telling us what to think and start giving us useful weather information.”

Get her off the air and make room for brighter, more talented on-air meterologists like Jen Carfagno:

Nice, but they’re all playing for second. Jen rules. Plus, she’s a Nittany Lion.
