“John McCain has moved to a six percentage point, 48% to 42%, lead over Barack Obama in Gallup Poll Daily tracking of the general election, while he edges out Hillary Clinton by only one point, 46% to 45%.”
Wasn’t there another poll where Clinton was polled as beating McCain by a couple of points not too long ago?
We’re ridiculously poll happy.

I saw Clinton up by nine over McCain. Polls are the MSM tool to fool non interested voters before November 4th 2008.

Right. This is like checking on the thermometer outside your kitchen window to see if there’s Global Warming or not.

That means that the leftist slime machine will shortly be put into gear.

When I see a poll that uses 100 million responses I might take notice.

May not mean much, but it is fun to see polls that suggest to the Democrats they are locked into choosing the losing candidate.

I posted this because of the rash of poll posts that show the Democrats winning in the general.

Wasnt there another poll where Clinton was polled as beating McCain by a couple of points not too long ago? The BS poll from 'Associated Press-Ipsos' has Clinton by 9 pts.

Hillary is only running even with McCain because because she’s getting the votes of conservative Democrats who will not vote for Obama. In the general election they will “throw her under the bus” for McCain.
To: rocksblues
On FR only bad news about McCain excites interest. Good news is either disputed or denied.
To: rocksblues
Good Job McCain, now just stay quiet until the election and you are in.

I think he inherited Obama’s empty suit. Many voters find it attractive.

Yes I agree. I’m going to vote for McCain. Let’s see other FReepers do the same.

"That means that the leftist slime machine will shortly be put into gear."
Until the Democratic nomination is settled, that "slime machine" will be busy with war between Hillary and Obama.

I would say that is a likely scenario.
