The only thing Ron Paul's people would be doing at the Republican convention would be mopping the floors after Ron's 2:30am speech.

Just going by past election cycles.
In the past many boast of voting for the Democrat, so after several times of seeing such posts, I believe a number of them really do.

It WOULD indeed be nice if I was wrong.

My point is, if the proces is opened up, Paul wouldn’t have to be the sole beneficiary. If his folks would be free to pick him, then the other delegates would be free to pick who they wanted too.

McCain could be sitting on the platform with no limo to take him home, if that happened.

I am an ‘any Conservative will do, but most definatly not McCain or Paul’ supporter.

I didn’t think they had to mop that fifty foot square of pavement behind the auditorium. ;-)

Ron Paul has less chance than a blind pig finding an acorn.. America does not want a conservative,, John McLaim cannot and will not be elected.. Because some observe him as a conservative.. The weasle is a scorpion..

America WANTS a Vampire as President.. either Borat or Hillary..
The question: is America a land of the UNDEAD?..

I voted for Ron Paul here in PA. I just could not find it in me to vote for McCain. I would feel dirty if I did...

...and we are able to pick someone other than him or McCain...

Well, I won't be voting for either of them, so I wouldn't.

Don’t know about the place, but the time is going to be early in the AM when the fewest people are watching.

the Paulites would have cited the Louisiana Purchase as proof that Jefferson is an "unconstitutional intrusion" who wants to destroy America.

Incidentally, Jefferson himself thought the purchase was unconstitutional, and drafted up a Constitutional amendment to cover it. Then he realized ratification would take too long and Napoleon might change his mind in the interim. Jeff was actually more flexible and realistic than Ron Paul.

Romney will get killed on the Mormon issue (the media will link him with FLDS), Hunter had no support, Huckabee is not as conservative as he claimed, Rudy is a liberal, that leaves Thompson who was just about everyone’s either first or second choice anyway.

Great. I don't know who works to the ‘Rats favor more: The Rollye James/Ron Paul wacko crowd or Rush's “Operation Chaos” wacko crowd. OsamaObama just might have a chance to squeak this out.

“Ron Paul supporters not lining up behind McCain”

That’s because they’re not Republicans.

Exactly.
If you can’t bend, you snap and there are many Paulites on FR who have snapped long ago.
They are Useful Idiots for the Left as that is who wins in the end.
McCain not my first choice but he supports far more conservative and moderate issues than the far left Obama or Hitlery who will be the winners thanks to the Paulites

I dunno, I think McCain will do fine without the 2% of voters who are Ron Pauliacs.

McCain will run over who ever the rats put up. Get on the train or be left crying at the station.

These insane Paultards need to be slapped down and made to play ball.

Period.

This is too important to allow these kooks to mess things up and put Hitlery or Hussein in office.

Thompson has signed Hollywierd contracts for acting.
He also ticked off many including many of his once supporters with his late entry and waaay lay back campaigning

Paul’s not a conservative, he’;s a libertarian kook who allies himself with racists and sees conspiracies everywhere. The last straw was blaming us for 9/11.

The man needs to be locked in a rubber room wearing a straightjacket with the rest of the lunatics....along with his nuttier-than-a-nest-of-cuckoos supporters.
