Saudis' secret agenda
The Australian ^ | May 03, 2008 | Richard Kerbaj and Stuart Rintoul

THE cheque from the Saudi Government for $360,000 was enclosed in an envelope.

It was a donation, a gift, a part payment to subsidise the construction of a building that would become Sydney's Muslim heartbeat: Lakemba mosque.

"They said: 'Please, can you mention the tragedy of the Palestinian people and what's happened to them in your sermon?"' Shami tells Inquirer. "Which is really a very noble cause, a very noble cause, I couldn't see a negative in their request."

The message Shami received from Riyadh brings into question the influence petro-dollars can have on their recipients...

But the Saudi cash that has flowed into Australia, that also allegedly has paid the allowance of hardline Canberra cleric Mohammed Swaiti, who has publicly praised jihadists, is dwarfed by the $90 billion Riyadh is believed to have pumped into promoting Islamic fundamentalism internationally.

US counter-terrorism analyst Steven Emerson is sceptical. The Washington-based analyst tells Inquirer: "The notion that the Saudis have totally changed their ways and are not disseminating Wahhabist anti-Western literature and propaganda is simply false. ... one can only conclude their efforts to project moderation is an exercise in propaganda."

Emerson, best-selling author of American Jihad: The Terrorists Living Among Us, says Saudi Arabia should be allowed to bankroll religious initiatives in the West only when it becomes open to the idea of religious reciprocity..."Saudi Arabia does not allow the practice of any other religion, bars the operations of churches, confiscates Bibles ...

Tell us something we don’t already know. Why we are allied with the real enemies I would really like to know?

How can there be a separation of “church and state” when one state is funding the expansion of that state’s religion in foreign countries?

It isn’t just our OWN government that is prohibited from such funding. Saudi mosques should not be tax exempt. They are government entities.

THE Griffith University academic at the heart of a funding controversy has defended the decision to accept $100,000 from the repressive Saudi Arabian Government to help finance Islamic studies.

MI5 had also reportedly warned Prime Minister Gordon Brown that funding from Saudi Arabia and other Muslim countries had caused a “dangerous increase in the spread of extremism in leading university campuses”.

The Saudi royals should know they’re ripe for the picking. They’d best tread very, very lightly.

Arab countries treat the “Palestinians” like our liberals treat black folks.

They use them for political gain
They victimize and enslave them
They have absolutely no interest in their success
They would never invite them into their own homes
And they extort money for them only to keep it, themselves

I’m sure I left out a couple...

Unless there is a global BAN on the use of oil, the Saudis will still have other nations to profit from. And they will still sell Islamic Imperialism in the West.

We need to END the Islamic Imperialism. The oil itself isn't evil, it is the theocratic Islamic supremacist tyranny that needs to come to an end. It should’ve been over a millennium ago.

Saudi Arabia is a huge place but its population is concentrated in just a small handful of places, easy to get to and easy to...um...”reform.”

We have enough oil in this hemisphere to make the Saudi oil a commodity that they will have to beg people to buy. We just have not had the leadership to develop and produce it, for over thirty years now.
