A sexual harassment investigation uncovered an atmosphere in Dann's office rife with inappropriate staff-subordinate relationships, heavy drinking and harassing and threatening behavior by a supervisor. On Friday, Dann admitted to an extramarital affair with a subordinate after the investigation threatened to reveal the relationship.

Hell, Clinton did far worse and they never did diddly to him short of take his law license away for awhile.

Dann was one of the legislators leading the charge against Bob Taft when he was governor.

Ironic.

Hypocritical, even.

Good for the Dems in Ohio for taking a stand. Now if we could get the GOP in congress to equally vociferously call for Ted Stevens and Larry Craig to get the hell out of dodge, we might be able to restore some credibility.

Dann had some kind of ethics violations and reprimand from the State Supreme Court before the idiots in Ohio even elected him. They could have had a competent benign republican but in their feeding frenzy they elected a ‘rat piece of sh*t. Get what you pay for.

He’ll resign by Friday. The vote to impeach will be unanimous.

"I think it's important for Democrats to send a very clear message that we will clean our own house," Strickland said.

Like about once every century.

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Risking impeachment, Ohio's attorney general on Monday refused demands from the governor and other fellow Democrats that he resign over a sexual harassment scandal in his office and an affair with a subordinate.

Ooops. That must have slipped past the AP censor.

Was Dann Elliott Spitzer’s lawyer?

The basis for impeachment in Ohio appears to be somewhat murky. Some say the basis merely need to be a misdemeanor. Others say the definition of misdemeanor is not necessarily what we would view as being a misdemeanor in a legal sense. In any event, the definition would normally be determined by guess who (the attorney general, who in this case is the perp).

Dann is toast but it could get even more interesting.

The Dems are concerned about the impact on the November elections and, of course, are conniving to retain the AG's office.

“The work of the Office of the Attorney General matters more, and is far more important, than any one person,”

The sexual gratification IN the OFFICE of the POTUS matters more and is far more important than any one country.

It’s good to see that it’s democrats being called out for their wrongdoing.

However, if the republicans had been willing to push to punish their own in Ohio, they might not be run by democrats now.

Congressman Ted Strickland was against the impeachment and removal of Bill Clinton.

Now Governor Ted Strickland is for the impeachment and removal of Marc Dann.

Why the difference in treatment?

I mean other than politics.

Since when have Democrats had a problem with adultery and sexual harassment?
