Jaipur is a very popular tourist destination in Western India. Not surprisingly it lies in a state that shares the international border with Pakistan.

Hmmm....let’s see...religious violence around the world...

Kosovo, Lebanon, Israel, Iraq, India, Chechnya, Darfur, Nigeria....where else...; I’m beginning to suspect some kind of common thread here. Now what might that be? /s/

is this area near Kashmir or in India proper??

Wasn’t that long ago (3 or 4 years) that an attack on the Indian parliament led to full mobilization by both India and Pakistan and the threat of regional nuclear war became VERY real

The toll is going to be horrendous. Time for some cleaning up in Rajathan?

With the pro-muslim/comunist govt. in place currently, I doubt we’ll see any action.

Now they’re saying 50-60 dead, over 100 injured. It’s an area that was generally considered pretty calm and had not had any conflicts until now.

These are Pakistani infiltrators who do this.

They plant bombs near major temples, like in this case, and create a situation to start retaliatory riots.

It didn’t work when tried several times last year, but when the dam breaks, there will be a lot of bloodletting.

Jaipur is not near Kashmir.
It is about 100 miles south of Delhi
and a fair distance from the Pakistan-India border.

This is terrible. I didn’t know exactly where Jaipur was located, but when I looked at the map, I realized what the problem was.

Ping, very sad, it will not be long before the nuclear issue is back between them and the genie gets out of the bottle.
Islam..short for:
Idiots Spreading Lies About Mohammmmmed

The Hindu and Christian cultures are so kind and peace loving in India, but all tolerance has its limits, one day the mushroom cloud over many mid east countries will be the best alternative. Very sad..

Trishul targeting: Temples, Bazaars, Tourists.

Large native Muslim population in the city. Sea for jihadis to swim in, whether homegrown or Pakistanis.

So far, so good, no retaliatory riots.

A city, despite the neglect, is still beautiful with it’s forts, palaces and pink sandstone walls everywhere, not to mention the filigreed jewelry, stunning colors on fabrics that make Western tourists swoon.

Peacocks, elephants and mongooses on the mountain roads leading upto the forts and palaces.

And a really important early warning radar system watching Pakistan from a hilltop.

It’s virtually impossible to bulletproof a society.

At least some bombs did not detonate.
