Great point. Obama has not been vetted at all.
The last time a politician got the kind of fawning coverage Hussein gets was the time that female reporter offered Clinton a BJ for keeping abortion legal.
Hussein should be thanking the MSM for the fawning coverage he has received so far. Notice how the Rezko trial has dropped from the news even as it is clear that the two (Obama and Rezko) were partners in corruption.
I posted an audio of Obama being endorsed by the Hamas chief political director. This file is in the public domain and yet the MSM won’t mention a word (except in the context of criticizing McCain for bringing up the topic).
Simple,
The Keating 5 issue is decades old, and the lead prosecutor in the case is on the record stating that McCain was clean, which is why he was never indicted.
Whereas Rizzo/Ruzzo’s or whatever his name is, trial is going on right now.
What would be biased would be trying to equate the two.. which is, of course, what libs want.
The Keating 5 is 20 years old.
It happened so long ago, that it is about the same time when Obama started hanging out with Rev. Wright.
What an absolute joke.
Don’t examine Obama’s Marxist background. Move on MSM from the Obama. Examine McCain. Heh! Heh! That’s the ticket!
Was Barack born before the Keating 5? :-)
Seriously though, does Barack Obama want to be closely questioned about what he did in the 80s and early 90s? Does he think he’s been questioned at ALL about that time?
The Keating Five scandal was part of the Savings and Loan collapse that involved four Democrats and one Republican.
The Ethics committee found that three of the Democrats interfered substantially. They also found that one Democrat and one Republican had minimal involvement.
The Keating Five special investigator suggested that the Senate Ethics Committee not pursue charges against the Republican because his investigation revealed there was "no evidence against him." Years later the special investigator said, he felt the Committee pursued charges against the Republican because, without him, the case would have been entirely against Democrats.
John McCain was the Republican and the only member of the Keating Five remaining in the U.S. Senate?
