Yesterday, Barack Obama began crying again. Someone should remind him... there's no crying in politics. He has whined that we can't use his middle name, he has whined when we bring up his close relations with aging hippy terrorists, that we ask aloud about his "spiritual mentor, the racist Rev. Jeremiah Wright, and now he is crying that we are highlighting the anti-American statements made by his wife as she campaigns for him all across the country. So, on Monday he whined "lay off my wife,". Well, fast on the heels of Obama telling us we can't use the anti-American statements of his wife as a campaign issue we get the kiddies over at the DailyKos doing their best to "help" Barack Obama by making an image of Michelle Obama hanging from a tree with robbed KKK figures torturing her with a branding iron and claiming that this is the "NEW IMPROVED" GOP strategy. So much for the subtleties and civility that Barack claims he wants, eh?

The only racists I know of in the current campaign are the cluster of Afro-centric fanatics around Obama: his wife, Rev. Wright and friends...... the extent to which Barack Obama shares their views is not completely settled, but it does seem very hard to believe he could make himself part of a radical racist chuch for 20 years and not believe most/all of the main doctrines. Would anyone buy that one of David Duke’s main followers “really didn’t believe” it all but simply went along to get along, for reasons of career advancement?
note: and would sheer opportunism and cynical career advancement really be any adequate excuse for a presidential candidate???!!!??

BTW Every one speaks about folks being civil but this is not much different than some of the cartoons from the 1800’s.
In my opinion Obama’s campaign wants not to unify America but split the country into even deeper racial factions.

With the white kids adopting Gangsta rap,decrying America and the Western Civ, , white guys always afraid of a” Martin Lawrence” reaction in dealing with disputes with persons of color,and a dozen other obvious things, I think they have succeeded.

There are actually two articles by Kurtz, one on NRO and the first which was only in the print issue of NR, is available at the Ethics and Public Policy Foundation, through a link at the bottom of the NRO article. You should read both articles because they are the best, most comprehensive source of information on Obama and his relationship to Black Liberation Theology. It is who Obama is, it defines him.
