Dealer Offers New Gun With Car Purchase

BUTLER, Mo. -- A local car dealer is holding a controversial promotion involving guns.

Max Motors in Butler is offering anyone who buys a car the choice of $250 in gas or a free semi-automatic handgun.

"Like I say, it's a choice -- protection or gas," said Walter Moore with Max Motors.

Even if it wasn’t a firearm I wanted I would still take the gun to piss off the liberals.

controversial

"controversial" is the word the news media uses to describe things that they don't like. Notice that gun control legislation is never "controversial" no matter how draconian it is; however, the slightest lifting of restrictions is always "controversial."
