how we sympathized when Bin Laden hit them. And how we stood shoulder-to-shoulder with them in Iraq. . . Oh wait. . .

Communist party members in St Petersburg on Friday condemned the new Indiana Jones' film as crude anti-Soviet propaganda that distorted history and called for it to be banned from Russian screens.Way to go, guys.

NO..........
A vote for Barr is a vote for Obama!
For the very reason that Barr has NO CHANCE and voting for him undermines the McCain candidacy.
The only reason Clinton got in, is because Perot erroded support for Bush.
This is political reality, not squishy philosophy.

Oh come on, there was only a few lines about that. It was *farrr* harder on the communists than the US government.
And btw, the US government wasn’t innocent in the first one either.. The told Indy to shove it basically once they got the Ark.
Making Indy a war hero was awesome too. I was impressed at how pro-US this one was overall.

Saw
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull yesterday and the suspension of any reality is demanded. The audience is asked to believe right from the get go that elite Soviet special forces cannot shoot straight at almost point blank range.
Then Indy survives an atomic blast in a lead lined fridge that appears to also be indestructible and padded such to keep Prof Jones from being harmed from the fridge being blown into the air for miles and rolling to a stop. It would have been just as easy to have had the target test sample houses have bomb shelters Indy could have gone into and survived.
Not far into the film past that the FBI comes on like the Soviet KGB wished they could have, following the true Liberal Democrat myth that the 1950s was all Republican Big Brother Government enforcing the evil 'Red Scare.' and 'Black Listings' on any and all true Americans
It is a wonder Indy did not vomit like Old Faithful when he says in the film, "I like Ike."
God help all the kids who go see this over and over again not realizing the Leftist Elites continue to politicize any film to their Liberal Agenda. No wonder we are grown such a crop of idiots!
Don't know how nObama and Queen Michelle will react as the only non white faces shown are all savage barbarians. Then again, that would play into the Queen's saying the US is a mean country.
Here in my small Texas town the four-plex theater was not half-full even with the admission price being $2.25 for the first 4:30 PM showing.
All in all, in my humble opinion... the film was over priced.

Since the original Indiana Jones movies were made 25 years ago and set in the 1930s, Harrison Ford has aged accordingly. It would look a bit silly if he were still fighting Nazis, so they substituted Stalin-era Communists, who looked and acted a lot like the Nazis. They also look very little like the modern version of leftists, so few of the great unwashed will make that connection. Besides, the Left blames all the failures of Communism on that particularly bloodthirsty Soviet dictator.

The Russians were all lovey dovey with Hitler when they BOTH attacked and invaded Poland. Afterwords one of the serial cheaters was cheated by the other.
Commies, and especially Russian Commies suck.

Let’s ask some of those former residents of the Gulag about life in Mother Russia in the 1950s... Oh, there probably aren’t a lot of those folks around to comment.
Maybe we should ask Walter Duranty, NY Times columnist and newsman and pulitizer prize winner propogandist for the Commies. He’d be on the Commies’ side.

I won’t be voting Juan McCain. A McCain presidency will only solidify the GOP’s movement to left and center. I’ll take Pres Barack because it’ll be the healthiest thing possible to bring the GOP back to it’s roots.

I bought the first three Indy DVDs to watch with my seven year old as an introduction to the series. I hadn't seen them since they were in theaters.
Number one was good, old fashioned matinee serial movie-making. Two was downright sadistic and darn near unwatchable. I might not watch the third and it looks like I might not bother to see the new one either.

Don’t worry. Hell isn’t freezing over yet. They also take a shot at “McCarthyism.” I think Indy loses his job at the university because he’s suspected of being a commie.
