In Mexico if you need hospital care you have to pony up the money ahead of time or they will just let you die.
At least we send them back to their country that is responsible for their care.

Craig's list now has warnings about the ways landlords can be sued for discrimination... country of origin is one and it specifically spells out Hispanic.
Don't even think I can put - current and valid U.S. Drivers' License as one of the criteria for renting now.
Reason for Drivers' License... one person who signed a lease with me last year ... signed said lease with one of her many names... found out the day after she signed that she used a fake name... site online gave ALL of the names she uses in a row... latest ... now know why ALL the names... she is insane... lol

I process rental applications through Advantage First Rent with excellent results.
You can turn down Hispanics for the same reasons you would turn down other applicants (poor credit, bad rental references, criminal background, insufficient income, false id, etc.) You just need to use the same guidelines for each and every person.
(My geography prof who tot me this didn't really explain WHY that bookstore makes everyone hate us, but since he tot us that, I only go to Barnes & Noble or Amazon now. No more Borders for me!)
