Notice they didn’t use the word “broadcast” and WI-FI; you can bet a case of donuts that somebody tried this back when Radio first came on the scene.
Schenectady had one hell of a transmitter on an experimental basis, and so did WLW iirc. During the 30s WLW broadcasted at 500,000 watts or somesuch from a water-cooled site. Good ole’ vacuum tube tech. They would get music requests from Great Britain! The Schenectady station illuminated light bulbs in the surrounding area and farmers reported hearing the barbed wire “sing” with the music.

You wouldn't do well in an environment in which you were subjected to a continuous barrage of 50kV shocks. If nothing else, your nervous system would be shot in hours. But vegetation doesn't have nervous systems, so that doesn't apply to trees. Like I stated previously, it has already been proved to be safe.
Perhaps a few hundred gigavolts of lighting from time to time can be lethal however, like it or not it's still natural.
Via natural progression vegetation copes with this.

Sorry, I don’t buy that he HAS to live in a city. Move.
Nor do I. I think it translates to maximum disruption to the maximum amount of people with the minimum amount of effort. Or it’s all about me me me me me me me. I haven’t forgotten the news factor either, some people just need to be in the news.

Isn’t all this akin somewhat to you living where you do. Sorta so you and yours won’t be infected kinda like. It’s coming to a neighborhood near you, trust me.

Well, I don’t think so. I cover our place with a SonicWALL TZ170W. That’s an enterprise-class router/firewall/WLAN appliance with a strong radio and easily handles both floors of our structure. So no, I don’t buy this nonsense for a minute.

Arthur Firstenberg says he is highly sensitive to certain types of electric fields, including wireless Internet and cell phones. "I get chest pain and it doesn't go away right away," he said. Firstenberg and dozens of other electro-sensitive people in Santa Fe claim that putting up Wi-Fi in public places is a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. The city attorney is now checking to see if putting up Wi-Fi could be considered discrimination. Personally, I WANT Arthur Firstenberg to live in constant pain.
Then I want him to die.
Alone. Unnoticed. Unloved.
