and so, the drum beat continues.... driven on the right by pro-business at any cost, sovereignty be damned RINOs and from the left by those who believe "no human is illegal".
It's enough to make me want to throw up when I realize we're going to have "comprehensive immigration reform" whether it's good for the country or not.

I am reaffirmed on a regular basis that my cancellation of my WSJ subscription was a good move..

If this was 1860, the WSJ would be editorializing for letting the South secede because slavery was such a wonderful base of the economy. These kinds economic whores are why the GOP is sliding into oblivion ---just like its predecessor the Whigs!

Do you feel safer? No, this is an important job and someone competent should really be doing the job of enforcement, not an incompetent fool like certioff.

Giving them a legal way to enter the country

They already have “a legal way to enter the country”
It’s called IMMIGRATION..
WOW
Wadid I win ???????????
To: KentTrappedInLiberalSeattle
and Obama is going to continue to build the fence and stop the amnesty train.....not
Looks like that is what you want since there are two candidates.
Since some folks didn’t want the true fighter against illegals, Hunter we have two choices.
Third party always brings in the democrat, only Obama will be the second term of Carter only worse.

I honestly can't decide which of the two is the more hysterically falling-down funny, ultimately: the fact that they genuinely seem to believe that we actually don't KNOW that... or the pinched, patrician, put-upon air paid amnesty shills unfailingly affect, while laboriously attempting to "teach" us otherwise. ;)

The elites at the WSJ don’t want to lose their nannies, landscapers, and pool boys. And they certainly don’t want to see employers fined or jailed for employing illegals, which would solve the problem.
To: Califreak
> These immigrants are obviously responding to a labor shortage for certain jobs.Isn't this precisely the same rationale liberals have been providing for over four decades now, re: "economically distressed urban youth" and drug pushing...? ;)

It doesn’t matter whether the workers are “willing”, what matters is that they are “illegal”. What is it about identity theft (and other crimes) that the WSJ doesn’t understand???

I am just praying for a good VP choice by McQueeg, other than that we are so screwed! Even that is small consolation for what we face.

Hi TN, I have to laugh at the folks who didn’t want to support Duncan Hunter, the only candidate who has the history and currently fighting the illegals and all that goes with it.
Now they whine and try to dig up some third party hack.
