Gaffe n. A clumsy social error; a faux pas
Prevaricate v. To stray from truthfulness or sincerity.
Was Barack Obama's latest whopper--about his uncle liberating Auschwitz and then hiding in the attic for six months: was it a prevarication or a gaffe? What others have said:
"In one of his more egregious and easily demonstrated lies, made even more so by the day he decided to let it loose on, Obama has rewritten WWII history such that the allies liberated Auschwitz." --Purple Avenger, Ace of Spades HQ
"Is there a point at which the media will start calling Barack Obama out for his absolutely stunning lack of historical knowledge, and his willingness to lie at the drop of a hat?" --Charles Johnson, Little Green Footballs
"Either Obamas uncle served in the Red Army, or hes spinning Clintonesque lies about Auschwitz to sell his government programs. Hey, its for a good cause but its not enough for him. It has to be personal. It has to be all about him." --See Dubya @Michelle Malkin
Barack Obama: Change We Can Believe In would be better written, Barack Obama: Clap Your Hand and Believe Really Hard, because its content is suitable only for people who believe in fairy tales. --Husaria
Fairy tales? Shades of Bill Clinton!
What politician lets a little thing like the truth get into the way of a good story out on the campaign trail? And Barack Obama--all the talk about The Messiah aside--is nothing if not a politician.
His latest fairy tale is the one about the "Uncle Who Liberated Auschwitz And Had to Spend Six Months in the Attic".
At least Hillary's tall tale--about "How I Braved Sniper Fire and Lived to Tell About It"--had a happy ending.

Tonight, the Obambi camps is saying he misspoke and meant to say Belsen Bergen, but there are really good records as to which division and company liberated which concentration camp. The USArmy photographers and archivists made sure of that.
I wonder if the Obambi camp realizes this.
Here’s an example: “German soldiers, prisoners of the 71st Infantry Division, 3rd U S Army, remove dead victims from a concentration camp and prepare to bury them. This camp near Lambach, Austria...”
I did not know the muslims liberated thew jews. I thought they fought along side the germans.
The Press will do NOTHING about this ... they won’t examine it at all.
Was Obama’s Uncle serving in the Red Army??? The Soviets Liberated Auschwits; specifically, the 322nd Rifle Division of the Red Army on January 27, 1945.
“Tonight, the Obambi camps is saying he misspoke and meant to say Belsen Bergen”
Well, if that’s what they are changing the story to, they are still wrong...the camps name was Bergen Belsen. Either way, they are so full of $h!t...how the hell can you grow up hearing the story of an uncle liberating a death camp and get the freakin’ name wrong!?!
about his uncle liberating Auschwitz and then hiding in the attic for six months:
This doesn’t add up. If his uncle liberated anything why did he have to live in an attic for six months?
Exactly the point I was going to make. If Obama’s uncle liberated Auschwitz, then he must have been a Russian.
Tonight, the Obambi camps is saying he misspoke and meant to say Belsen Bergen, but there are really good records as to which division and company liberated which concentration camp. The USArmy photographers and archivists made sure of that.
A quick search shows the British and Canadians liberated this camp.
For Barack’s sake, I hope his great uncle isn’t the same Charles W. Payne who was in the Navy during WWII.
UNCLE JOE!!!
Plus where did he learn his ENGLISH....Obama.."I have a uncle".....it's..I have AN uncle.....geesh Louise.
Tomorrow, the Obama camp will change “Belsen Bergen” to something else...OR that maybe his uncle served in the Canadian Army.
Or something...
Not only that...his mother was an only child, so now the story has become it was his great-uncle. OY! How can so many people be so fooled by this guy.
because he did not listen, he cares nothing about American history.
This fool tries to be something for everyone, consequently he should be nothing to anyone.
