I never give to charities without vetting them first. Some “charities” waste as much as 85% of donations on overhead. I would rather give my money to the Salvation Army because I KNOW that they are good stewards with the money given them.

You don’t have to ‘give’ anything. All you have to do is click. I’ve been a hungersite clicker for 7 years now. Corporations donate, such as a cup of rice or dog food (for the pet site), for every click. It’s legit, had write ups in Time magazine for example.
