“’ve lived in my house near Sacramento for 30 years. There has always been chickens and ducks in the neighborhood, and we are hardly third world.

There are also geese, peafowl, quail, guinea fowl, horses, and llamas in the area where houses are still valued at more than 400k or more.

Nearby, the community of Fair Oaks takes great pride in the fact they have beautiful chickens roaming the neighborhoods.

The presence of these feathered guys does not equate to the third world transplanted. “

Yes, yes, so did I, steveo. This is NOT your typical rural/suburban situation. One day, 2 of the aliens ‘chickens’ got onto my patio to fight. There was blood from the roof line to the fence and all over the house before I could get them ran off. How do you feel about laundry hanging all over the fences, deck railings every day in the FRONT YARD. The lots I had were 2 acres, but the 25 aliens
that moved in couldn’t recreate on the 2 acres...NO, they had to be in the street, hangin’ with their homies....beating on the hood of my realtors car as He tried to show my property.
Btw, they don’t bother with bathrooms when they need to whiz, they use the street. How much of that do you have in your ‘hood’?

Price of my property fell $100,000.00 in 3 weeks. It took them only 3 weeks to totally destroy the ‘hood’ that I’d lived in peacefully, quietly, MANICURED for 30 years.

100K in three weeks? I call major bull shit on that statement.

I live out in the country and I would rather have chickens next door than the dog that is left outside to bark night and day. I listened to him until 3am this morning. Or the (white) trash that rented next door for a year and had multiple chained dogs, kenneled cats, trash and rubbish strewn everywhere and piled up high.

We have goats nearby, horses and cows. No exotics yet (that I’m aware of). Hubby and I were just talking last week about getting a few chickens, use the eggs and sell the surplus. We’re not Hispanic and neither are any of our neighbors.

That looks pretty much like the house next door when the (white) tenants got done with it. Took the landlord a long time to get rid of them legally, he’s a nice guy and I felt sorry for him. I don’t even remember their name, we just called them The-Neighbors-From-Hell.

I've known your pain, believe me. There is only one family that owns a large outside dog now. He will only bark at maybe a stray cat that wanders through their yard or the odd skunk, possum or raccoon. There are anti bark devices one could buy to maybe help solve your problem...

I’ve chased white men out of my yard for mistaking it for the men’s room. We have a little country general store next to us and for some reason, men get out and decide my flower beds would be a nice place to whiz. One guy even had his little boy out there doing it. I started letting my dog out when I saw them do it and they stopped.

“I’ve chased white men out of my yard for mistaking it for the men’s room. “

To be sure. However, you were able to chase the white guy, weren’t you? Did he have a dozen buddies with him??? Do that to an illegal and see what it gets ya.

I’ve had to deal with white trash my entire life. They are few and far between, thank goodness and fewer as time went on. We don’t need to import more of the same by the millions, do we? Now if you can figure out a way to deport white USA trash with the illegals, I’m all for it.

Seems that the U.S already has enough “third world” type people here that aren’t immigrants.

Do all born americans lead clean, reputable lives -without backyard trash, chickens, and other typical poverty paraphernalia?

Are all your cultural problems related to immigrants dirtying your clean country?

Inform me, I am not from around here.

I don’t really have a problem with animals if people take care of them. When I was last in Charleston, SC I lived in the last part of the city still zoned agricultural. There were guinea hens running around and 2 doors down they had sheep, adjacent house had rabbits and chickens and goats. It was great fun for my kids. I also don’t know what’s odd or bad about vegetable garden in the front yard. I have tomato and raspberries up front because that’s where the sun is.
One funny thing though there were Mexicans lived in a house up the road from where I am now and they had a fake rooster stuck up in the little tree by their house. I thought that was funny/tacky, kinda like plastic flowers on top of the TV lol

Why would we want to import more problems, when we have enough home-grown problems?

I may have to stop making jokes about the Democratic Party promising people a pony.

Next you’ll be saying backyard pig slaughtering has always been considered de rigour in the San Francisco Bay Area, ‘cause its becoming as common as the good ol’American BBQ today.

Where I worked, one of the tenants had shrubs growing outside by their patio. They supplemented one of the shrubs with extra fake greenery. I think it was to keep it green looking because the guy that lived above their apartment would pee in that shrub.(My boss still can’t understand why I quit, that was just the tip of the iceberg.) I was always surprised that we didn’t have chickens and goats running around that place. The cops called the place Little Mexico, and it is in Ohio.

Well, if you put it that way, you certainly have a point. Seems like many people are ignoring the dirt in their own backyards and pointing fingers elsewhere. Fair's fair. Two centuries ago it was the dirty Irish, then the dirty Italians, now the Mexicans. Sounds like anyone new is considered dirty, if you look at history, until they do better for themselves. (Not supporting illegal immigration though)
