In its final days, Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential cam paign has come to echo George Wallace’s 1968 run.

Like Clinton, Wallace as a candidate stalked the Northeast exploiting white anger. Like her, he bypassed the nation’s more educated and liberal parts to focus squarely on those who felt left behind, rallying animosity against elites.

But Hillary Clinton is neither a racist nor a populist; she’s an opportunist.

I think that's probably true. But many stories (like this one) emphasize the racial aspects of Hillary's campaigning.

Obama, on the other hand, really IS a racist. That seems very clear to me. But there are many stories which portray him as a uniter that will help the country get past race. That declaration is totally false.

“In its final days, Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential cam paign has come to echo George Wallace’s 1968 run.”

What a complete load of BS. Let me ask LaRaza, NAACP et al what they think about it.

Disagree. Barry brought race into this campaign from day one, and it hasn’t been pretty. Rev. Wright is the tip of the iceberg, and America needs to realize it. Barry is the race hustler with the elitist attitude, but still a hustler.

George Wallace did more to bring new industry to his state while he was governor than the Clintons ever did in Arkansas.

Since they enjoy a universal free pass and self definition of 'anti-racist' I am sure they would agree totally with weird Dick.

All the while pointing out that Obama's 96 or so percentage of black support is merely a matter of pride and self determination.

Exploiting white anger versus exploiting white guilt.

How about forgoing this exploitation altogether?

“racist is as racist does” ? After Rev. Wright, why does Clintons’ name even come up in discussion about racism. God, this guy is off the tracks!

These are the “final days” of the Hillary Clinton 2008 presidential campaign?

The convention hasn’t even begun and that alone runs about a week. “Final days”. Nope.

Dick, is there anything you are ever correct about? Except that Bush had a better strategy for fighting the war on terror than Kerry?

Pshaaaw. Walmart’s power has only grown humongous since Hillary’s time on the board of directors.

Barry isn’t a hustler. He’s a jive talker. A liar.

Wallace ran as a 3rd party candidate. Got approx 46 electoral votes from 5-6 states.

“Busing failed to integrate our schools and led, instead, to greater segregation as whites fled to the suburbs and/or to private schools.”
....he’s got that right!....not to mention what it did to the child having them to catch a bus in the dark so they could make the long ride across town.
