Global Warming: a Natural Cycle

by: Melinda Zosh, May 29, 2008

In 2006, Al Gore warned the world about a global warming disaster. He failed to mention that until 1850, the world felt the effects of the Little Ice Age and so did the Vikings.

Vikings, habitants of Greenland, thrived in the country’s moderate climate in 1100 A.D. A few hundred years later, their animals froze to death; then the Vikings starved or left their homeland, according to Rie Oldenberg, curator at Narsaq Museum in Greenland.

The Idea-Channel, a non-profit educational company, created a 10-minute video in 2007 titled Unstoppable Global Cycles. Several scientists said that changes in temperature and climate are driven by the sun’s natural cycles.

“Climate is not a constant. We go through periods where it’s much warmer and much cooler, and periods where it’s wetter and dryer,” said Dr. David R. Legates, of the Center for Climate Research at the University of Delaware. “The one thing we can say about climate in the future is that it will change.”

In fact, humans have already felt the effects of warming and cooling cycles. The Roman Warming lasted from 200 BC-600 AD followed by the Dark Ages Cooling, followed by the Medieval Warming which lasted until 1300 AD and the Little Ice Age which ended in 1850, according to the Idea Channel.

Giving an inconvenient observation, Legates said that the carbon dioxide is not the biggest contributor to climate change. “The sun is the key ingredient to climate,” said Legates. “99.9% of the energy on the earth that goes into the climate comes from sun.”

Some scientists argue that carbon dioxide is increasing the world’s temperature. Legates found different results....

Latest Climate Cycle Theory has the earth climate cooling. So watch the New York Time flip back to Global Cooling just like they did in the 1970s.

The only trouble is that when folks are cold, they will do anything to get warmer, including throwing out the Global Warming Politicians. As oil, gas and other things get much more expensive, the MSM and entrenched Politicians will become the endangered species.

When they impliment a rationing system and it’s 5 degrees outside, some people might start to wake up. Warmth is a good thing.

The problem is, Al Gore gets rich from his lies and the fools that follow him. He should be held accountable to the people.

Very sad that once upon a time any kid who managed to get through middle school general science had enough knowledge to know this, and that CO2 is NOT a pollutant, but plant food. Because of 50+ yrs. of dumbing down, the population will fall for any hoax perpetrated on them by Al Gore and the global alchemists who are attempting to turn carbon into gold.

We are in a political race. The price of oil is gradually driving out the ideas of the radical enviro’s. They are rushing to get legislation in place to lock in their Cap and Trade..higher taxes,,before the population rises up against them due to higher oil prices.
Just wait til the people in the NE see the price of heating oil in Oct..that will be the real Oct surprise!

I live in west central Georgia. For the last ten years, daily highs have been in the mid-to-upper 90s by this time of year. This year? We've only had ONE 90+ day so far.

Last summer was also a total loss as far as the garden is concerned. Too cold. Even the spruce didn’t cone and the squirrels have been nibbling spruce needles all winter. It’s not a happy trend if it keeps up.
