RIP – DancesWithCats
Freeper DancesWithCats (Peiggi Clemens). Returned to her maker May 1, 2008 in Phoenix, Arizona. She had suffered for many years with scleroderma, an autoimmune deficiency problem & was hospitalized under the care of an oncologist & receiving chemotherapy at the time of her death. She was 55 years old.
She leaves behind her son, mother and sister and her furry friends (both dogs & cats) and Freepers who got to know her at the Singles’ thread among other places at Free Republic.
Her wit, concern for others & kind spirit will be her legacy for us
Any Donations can be made to her church in her memory…All Saints Lutheran Church
Services were May 5, 2008 in at Colonial Chapel 4141 N 19th Ave., Phoenix, AZ at 3pm.

Peiggi,
I've missed seeing you on the thread for quite a while and wondered how you were doing. I'm sorry to hear that you have passed, but I know that you have gone to a better place. Thanks for all of your kind contributions to Free Republic during your time here. You're a good person, and the world needs more people like you.

I don't think I had any personal exchanges with DancesWithCats, but I do remember seeing her around on the various boards. A friend of mine in grad school had a mother with schleraderma -- not a pleasant disorder to have.
She will be in my prayers. We lost a good one.

I remember a number of the cat or kitten related threads, even when it was about the cat’s wilder cousins, I would see DancesWithCats commenting on the subject or even from time to time posting a cat or kitten picture. She will be deeply missed and also she is now spending time with all the cats that have gone home at the Rainbow Bridge in Heaven. I extend my condolences and prayers not only to her human family, but to her animal family companions. =^..^=
