It’s good to see our elected officials working on the important issues. I wonder what’s in the other hand (global warming is diverting attention from something else)?

I cannot believe that the American public is falling for this.
I simply cannot believe it.
And I cannot believe that the RepubliStupid party has fallen into lock step with the commie rats on this.
Dark days are ahead for us. Literally and figuratively.

Wasn't this, in a previous incarnation, known as the Lieberman-
McCain bill?
Why yes, I believe it was.

Scary thought...the GW hoax and its alleged “cure”, while causing havoc with human economies (western economies) could be just a red herring..yeah, what’s in the other hand?

Myth #6 “Global warming is a concern, not a crisis.”
Fact: What big government does to us because of the myth of globull warming is a concern.

I cannot believe that the American public is falling for this.
They aren't -- for the most part they aren't even aware of this, and when the politicos come to the public and tell them what a great thing has been done... few will know the difference.
Indifference and self-absorption will be this country's downfall, and we're fairly well down that road.

TSR—thanks for the ping.
Lieberman and Warner should be under arrest.
We all need to call our Senators next week like we did on the Amnesty bills.
Outrageous!

LW’s cap-and-trade approach is a proven success.

Something McCain would say...

The costs fall on industry, not consumers.Senators Lieberman and Warner need to go take an Econ 101 course and learn that ALL of industry's costs are paid by consumers.
This is just plain stupid.
