Bill and Hillary Clinton no longer control the Democratic primary. There's simply no other conclusion to draw after the party's Rules and Bylaw committee reached a decision Saturday that helps Barack Obama and hurts Hillary Clinton's chances of somehow winning the Democratic presidential nomination.
Clinton, in the words of Florida State Sen. Arthenia Joyner, wanted "it all" at Saturday's meeting. She wanted full delegations seated from Florida and Michigan, with a full vote.
She wanted Obama to get zero delegates from Michigan, since he followed the rules, ignored the outlaw primary and went so far as to take his name off the ballot. (Granted, he did this largely to please voters in Iowa and New Hampshire, but so did Clinton when she agreed not to campaign in either state).
Instead of acquiesing to Clinton's demands, the rules committee awarded full delegations with half votes. And they gave Obama a bunch of delegates from Michigan to boot, rejecting Clinton's argument those delegates should be uncommitted.
So did Clinton get ripped off? Her supporters certainly believed so, shouting their disapproval when the votes on Florida and Michigan were taken Saturday at a Washington hotel.
But let's look more closely. Clintonites on the rules committee actually voted unanimously to support the Florida compromise. ....

I hope so and may it lead to complete mayhem.
Haha...
Rush you magnificent bastard.
She's not being considered by VP.
She won't be in the cabinet.
She will find the Senate a very cold place to be when the campaign is over.
She's pretty much burned the bridges for 2012.
This is her last hurrah. She will hold nothing back.
seems like.......chaos?
no...she actually think she will have another chance in 2012 after McCain beats Obama like a red-headed stepchild.
You hit the nail on the head.
Pass the popcorn, Orville.....
I agree. McCain is only going for one term even if he hasn't specifically said so yet. Clinton's challenge is to help sink SS Obama with "friendly fire" while appearing to support him.
Operation Chaos: Why Rush Limbaugh Was Right
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2011242/posts
You might be right.
And he's not done yet. The last few months have been one some of the most enjoyable listening ever.
It does all seem just a bit chaotic now, doesn’t it? Rush is awesome.
She and Slick have experience at it by camoflauge in 2004 elections coyly helping to sink the SS sKerry frigate offering virtually no support to Lurch.
Then blame Obama for being naive enough to play by the rules knowing he was up against the Clinton crime machine. While Obama took his name off the ballot like a dope, the Clintons ensured they kept their name on so they at least had the opportunity to try and walk away with all the delegates for themselves. Then the Clintons show up in Florida right before the primary there. But they weren't really campaigning, they were having "fundraisers."
Obama, you are such a sucker.
The way I see it is that, even with a Clintonian “nuclear option”, Obozo’s followers will not budge. One has to be totally brainwashed and beyond mental reach to even consider voting for him.
Pretty devastating takedown of Hill tonight on SNL - she’s the best candidate she claims because “1. I’m a sore loser; 2. My supporters are racists; 3. I have absolutely no ethical standards”...finally the MSM have got her right.....
I am afraid you are correct. The Dims will have buyers remorse after McCain wins 350+ EVs in November. They will then turn to H.Clinton in 2012.
Would Hillary really have a lot of support in 2012 after everything that has happened in this campaign?
Yup, the Clinton's are OVER if she doesn't get the dem nod. She's cornered and she's spittin mad!
Oh the humanity.....please pass the popcorn.
Isn’t it likely a new face will emerge in 2012 on the Dem. side, similar to how Obama rose this year? The Clintons aren’t looked at the same way anymore. I think Hillary will have challengers in 2012, assuming McCain beats Obama in November.
>>>no...she actually think she will have another chance in 2012 after McCain beats Obama like a red-headed stepchild.
No: I think Hillary’s logic is without flaw : from the point of view of her own self-interests.
If she actually succeeds in getting the nomination, well: she’s got the nomination.
If she fails, and - as it would appear to be the case - Obama’s candidacy bites the dust, she’s got four years of “I told you so’s” to the Dems, and she gets the 2012 nomination. (Not that she has a good chance running in either 2008 or 2012)
Operation Chaos, my ass.
The Barrett Report which can be released in unredacted form by any sitting Senator and has been said to be devastating for the Clintons.
This is an extraordinarily interesting and fairly hilarious election season.
Rush will go into the history books for this. LOL
Is there anything she won’t do to attain power?
I disagree. I am betting she will make a speech endorsing Obama, call off the attack dogs, and make a graceful exit. No sarcasm tag.
What is the Barret Report?

It's sad that most people don't realize this. If he was really about following the rules...why didnt' he take his name off the florida ballot?
Fort Marcy Park is going to be an awful busy place in the coming months.
AMEN!
Hillary is a sociopath. We will never see the end of her.
If Obama makes her his VP, she may pull an RFK on him.
2012 will be her last chance to run for president (she will be too old in 2016), and the Dems will run the incumbent, so she may pull an RFK then, too.
Hillary is like the monster in the horror movie — you throw it out the window and think it’s gone, but it keeps crawling back in. We have not seen the last of her.
Ooh, mentioning Fort Marcy is getting a wee bit morbid, I thought it was all about the karma, as the uber-hollywood starlet: Sharon Stone famously stated./Just Asking - seoul62.........
Yep...Rush has managed to get me interested in an election that isn’t really thrilling me.
Here’s a rabid Clinton supporter from Ca. video...
extra bonus coverage of a DUmp thread included...

WOW. Almost makes it worth watching.
Nope. Stick a fork in her. She and the Flubba have so damaged the ‘Toon brand that they’re lucky they made $100M in the last years. Flubba’s campaign money laundering scheme-—uh, speaking fees-—just lost about all their market value.
In the meantime, if McCain plays his/our cards right as to VP, it won’t matter that he’s a one-term president. He can set this up and establish his legacy from Day One.
Aren't there any republicans in the senate?
But maybe she'll come out of the closet.
Thanks for the link, but supporters are irrelevant to this. Hillary will make peace with the party soon.
Agreed, and that's the main reason I don't fear him as president. He's way too naive to figure out how to get the whole country singing kumbahyah. He'll be branded a miserable failure if he doesn't have half of the troops out of Iraq by the time his term is up to its hundreth day.
I really think we conservatives have a lot to pat ourselves on the back for when it comes to this nomination fight in the Rat party. It started way before Operation Chaos, when Hitlery uttered the phrase, "vast right wing conspiracy"; at that point we knew we had already run her off the rails. From that moment on, we insured that she would never trust anyone except her chosen toadies, that she would view everything through the lens of "they're out to get me,", and that she would kamikaze the DemonRat party if necessary to get what she wanted.
We made it easy for Bubba to say, "But Hillary, the vast right wing conspiracy is making up all this stuff about Monica, you know how they hate us," before the DNA evidence came out. We also made it necessary that he would shoot off his big fat mouth about Barack Obama being the same as Jesse Jackson, etc., as payback for the embarassment he caused her over the Lewinsky stuff.
We made her into the raving lunatic that she is, full of a sense of entitlement, victimhood, and righteous indignation. Oh, and I'm going to give some credit to those "Iron my shirt!" guys, they rammed the point home about sexism in America, and that all men (even black ones) are evil, which propelled her into being the atom bomb that nukes the Democrap party for at least a generation.
So Obama out-strategeried the Witch every dang time!
