The world's most listened-to talk radio host, Rush Limbaugh (over 30 million regular listeners) has developed a program known as "Operation Chaos." This program is designed to get conservatives, Republicans and others to register as Democrats and cross over to vote in primary states, to keep the contest going up until the Democratic National Convention in Denver, Colorado. Many feel that "Operation Chaos" has helped to keep Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY), the former First Lady and wife of former President William "Bill" Clinton, in the race against the neophyte candidate Senator Barack Hussein Obama (D-IL). With Senator Clinton still in the running, pressure has mounted on the Democrat's so-called "Super Delegates" (mostly elected officials and other poo-bahs) to choose between Senators Obama and Clinton.
Details on Senator Obama's relationship with his controversial, racist and anti-American pastor of 20 years, Jeremiah Wright, his friendship and work with former Weather Underground terrorist and communist Bill Ayers, and his shady dealings with financier Tony Rezko would not have become an issue without Mrs. Clinton staying in the race. Similarly, Mrs. Clinton's lies about her Bosnia trip and other gaffes would have not become well known without Limbaugh's campaign.
Some feel that Limbaugh's "Operation Chaos" merely makes it more likely that Senator Clinton will be the nominee and defeat the presumptive GOP nominee, Senator John McCain, Vietnam hero and former POW. I don't agree: At this point, I feel that the American public is beginning to see that both Obama and Hillary are fatally flawed and not deserving of the White House. Senator McCain, with all his weaknesses and contradictions, is head and shoulders above a man two years out of the state legislature and a conniving, lying shrew that reminds many men of their ex-wife.
Neither Clinton nor Obama spent a day in uniform, and neither has any real-world executive, foreign policy or administrative experience. No, when the rubber hits the road, the American people will make the right choice, and Mr. Limbaugh helped make that happen.
All Americans should feel grateful that he used his "bully pulpit" to expose the Democrats for the unpatriotic, socialist, tax & spend leftists that they truly are. If you're like me and can remember the disasterous Carter administration, you know that we cannot afford another far-left president like that!
i don’t listen to rush limbaugh anymore.
he was an impediment to fred thompson, imo.
I think it may be time to switch directions and vote for Obama....Some people think Hillary will pull it off
Amen , that about says it .
“Comments?”
Certainly Pyrrhic Victory, and now there are tens of thousands of Republicans who switched to the Dhimmcrat Party and they may stay there.
Guam should have been a blow out for him.
No, the 'American people' won't make the right choice. They elected draft-dodger Clintoon over war-hero Dole and will do the same thing wrt McCain.
It's all about getting Hillary elected. Limbag is merely useful.
Rush has a genuine and verifiable public record, going back decades, of materially advancing the cause of principled conservatism.
His ever-present pack of noisy little online detractors, yapping ineffectually at his heels... does not.
Advantage: RUSH. ;)
I think Hillary should be their nominee. B.O. supporters will be very angry and then not vote.
I hate listening to the conservative commentators. I find them preachy. I can think for myself thank you very much. I disagree with this whole “Operation Chaos” business and I think it would have been a good idea to let Hillary go down when she was about to. Kill the beast when you have the chance, because you might not get another.
Obama would be EASY to beat in the general. Hillary I’m not so sure. In any case, McCain *should* win. I’m not saying that’s a good thing, he is just the least bad of the available choices.
I cannot stand the Idea of those 2 commie klintons anywhere near the white house again. if it was ANYBODY other than the hildabeast I’d be on board with Rush on this. the fact that she is still around with a chance (small I agree) for the democRAT nomination and the presidency pisses me off. I hope to hell this does not backfire on El Rushbo.
in that event, the golden microphone would be talkin to a lot less people i'm afraid
I totally agree with Rush that anything that creates problems for Democrats is a good thing.
I think it is fairly apparent the Republican candidate will spend as much time denouncing conservatives as he does trying to defeat Democrats...iow, he won’t fight hard against the libs. So someone has to do that.
I’m watching the beast on Hannity’s America right now and she is talking about Chinese steel coming here and our jobs going there. She is something else.
I don’t see any new information nor fresh perspective.
Misspelled ‘disastrous’.
Comments: Ditto to what Kent/Seattle says.
You do have a point and it could mean the (permanent?) abandonment of the Black vote
I think Rush is taking too much credit. It isn’t the Republican crossover vote which is making the Hillary/Obama contest such a struggle.
On the other hand, I like the publicity as a form of payback. I think that Democratic crossover voters influenced the success of McCain in some of the closer GOP primaries.
Limbaugh is a smart analyst and so far has been right on with “Operation Chaos”.
