This guy needs to be defrocked. Unfortunately some of the bishops seem all to content with ignoring these problems.
He should keep talking...then everyone will know he is a pure, unadulterated jackass. He’s NO Priest I can tell ya that.
Has his Bishop no ecclesiastical discipline? This biy needs to be on bread and water in a Benedictine Monastery in Poland for the next 90 days.

What kinds of Christians ARE these preachers? I’m new to the whole religious thing...and I love going to church...if I heard anyting like that I’d walk out and never go back..I go to church to get away from all of that...like a sanctuary. If I want that kind of talk, I’d stay home and watch the Sunday news shows. WHAT IS GOING ON IN THIS COUNTRY?
1. NO other parish in Chicago would want him. Most Catholic parishes in Chicago are heavily tied to the ethnic group in the neighborhood, and Pfleger would wear out his welcome anywhere in a few weeks, or more likely days.
2. Any priest who has to replace Pfleger at St. Sabina would be a sacrifice, and that would a tough place to get a volunteer to go into.
And, of course, eh does not want to leave where he is. Just packing and shipping his ego would be an enormous strain on a man of his age.
Whatever doctrinal differences I may have with Joel Osteen, I’ve never heard him use racial bigotry to inspire his congregation to more of same. It’s too bad Mr. Pfleger wasn’t inspired by Frederick Price instead of the likes of Jeremiah Wright.

The fact that any of these "congregations" warrant the same deduction as real houses of worship, where Jesus and God are the subject not ME/I/ME, is an abomination.
Jerk their 501(c)3's and put them down as hate-filled "houses of racism, anger and rage."

Obama and his leaders give America a good look at what goes on in places that call themselves churches.
He speaks out agains the Clintons so he can shrill for Obama. He shouldn’t really be even talking about that kind of stuff at all.
You’ve just listed three good reasons to close the church and ship Pfleger out. This isn’t a business — it’s a church. It’s mission is to bring souls to Christ, not promote a candidate, degrade white people, or tell blacks that racism is just as prevalent now as it was fifty years ago. If this is the best the Chicago Diocese can do, then give it up.
I have been a Christian my whole life, and I would get up and walk out on a hate filled, racist sermin. Anyone of conscience and decency would.
Hildy, hang in there. Read the Bible, study it, you’ll find what Wright and these others of his ilk espouse is NOT Christianity. We are always warned of false prophets and wolves in sheep’s clothing, always. That’s why it pays to KNOW what you are hearing and to be discerning so that you will not be influenced or led astray by this evil.
