[“A war that is not making anyone safer”.]

Not one word on that statement from the talking heads that I have heard.

Obama beat Hillary Clinton—a huge upset. He must have done something right.

Obama hasn't beaten Hillary yet. Not until the votes are counted, as they say, at the convention that is.

But that's neither here nor there. About 50% of our fellow contrymen are yearning for Marxism it seems and Hillary and Barack split their votes.

Which says absolutely nothing about Obama's ability to debate McCain on the issues. Obama is winning now despite his shortcomings. Crap happens and lot's of it is set to hit the fan come November but it won't be because of the messiah's debating ability and grasp of the issues.

Who gets to claim all the "Uncommitted" protest votes from Michigan when they thought their votes didn't count?

I have been saying that for a while. This was is a mess, and until republicans realize that, they will continue to lose.

But Clinton had real substance. He had command of information, he had been President for 4 years, and had been Governor for years before that.

Obama is no Bill Clinton.

You are looking at the speeches from the eyes of a conservative. Don’t you realize that the U.S.A. is a country that is all based on image now? The hot, the now, the hip, the yearning to be followers instead of leaders?

That is what this nation has become.

King Vanity thinks she is attractive.

I say she looks like she just bit into a martini cocktail onion.

Interesting little NEWS BULLETIN:
Mitt Romney, the former Republican presidential candidate, the former Republican governor of Massachusetts and a current silent candidate to become Sen. John McCain's vice presidential running mate, is also about to become a Californian.

A Southern Californian.

The Romneys await closing on a home in La Jolla. On the oceanfront, of course. Are there any other kind there?

Hmmm. I've been hearing California is up for grabs this year.
Smart move. (Not to mention getting to live in La Jolla!)

Seriously, I’m a troll for telling you my interpretation? By the way, I think it was implied that Obama is without substance, but, anyway, I agree with the rest of your post...despite your misinterpretation of my typo.

We have lost already. I am not one of those doom and gloom people either. McCain can’t draw flies from shit. He is boring. He is scripted. He is swarmy. He is arrogant. He is cocky. He is angry. He is NOT going to win.

If McCain wins, and he can win, it won't be because of who John McCain is or what he stands for, it will be because of who Obama is and who he has stood with.

The Dem Rules committee said that MI uncommitted go to Obama. In addition, 4-5 of Hill’s proportional delegates also go to Obama.

Hmmmm.... Romney as VP candidate putting California in play? That would make things most interesting.

Don’t know if enough Californicators would go for McCain/Romney, but who knows?

Hillary Clinton never congratulated Obama on winning but how he ran his campaign.

Very interesting. Thanks for that info re: Hillary's speech. Zelig and I could only stand about 5 minutes of her bloviating... we went back to watching the Red Sox... LOL

I am SO disgusted at how bad McCain looked/sounded vs Obama tonight. I fully realize there's no substance nor truth coming from Obama, but the dumbed-down sheeple -- that I think are rapidly becoming the vast majority -- in this country don't care about substance or truth. They just want the young, hip, sweet-talking guy who will bring "hope" and "change", and lots of "free" stuff from the government. This country is heading for BIG trouble, IMO...

We took hard stands that have almost been removed via the housing crunch, crackdowns, and high petrol. Our best candidates are not on the table because of this issue. It won’t be a player in this election. Consider it a punishment almost, on all of us. Flame On
