Now, following the same pattern, a push has started against red meat.

Fine. Here's my counter propaganda.

Save the Animals. Eat Liberals (well done of course)

The “scientific studies” connected to smoking were more hype than fact, IMO. I know smokers who have lived a long life and have no cancer. I also know people who never smoked and didn’t live in a smoking household, and died of lung cancer.

It's true that most smokers don't get lung cancer, and non-smokers sometimes do get lung cancer, but most lung cancers happen in smokers or former smokers.

Um.

Well, the anti-smoking campaign sure didn't work worldwide, only in the U.S. (and to a lesser extent Canada)

The rest of the world still smoke like chimneys.

I am against eating red meat! Slightly pink is o.k. in the middle but no red. And a good dark crust on the outside but no red!

I'll take my filet charred-rare ... blackened crust, bright red, cool center.

Campaigns against red meat will hit the kids in school. They will come home and accuse their parents of poisoning not only their family, but the entire world. They will be taught that the cow that was last night's burger was a bigger polluter of the world than the SUV in the driveway. Remember the push for kids to condemn their smoking parents? Reeber when they laughed at Ronaldus Magnificus when he stated the same? Straight from the Reader's Digest?

I think you're meat eating career got off to a crappy start - putrefied carcasses....???

Yuk.

And they don't suffer. I worked on the kill floor for about a year.....

The vegicrats cite “facts” such as: “it takes 8 (or some other meaningless number) pounds of grain to produce a pound of meat”.

What they don't say is: (a) a pound of beef has at least 4 times the protein of a pound of grain (and it is complete protein); (b) range-fed cattle don't eat grain — humans can't digest their food, and the rangeland is unsuitable for cultivation; (c) the cattle produce other useful products, besides the beef meat.

Since you posted twice I take you want two fillets. Sounds like you want the animal with a bad sunburn and still moving. Call it bovine sushi?

And remember, In Genesis, GOD told Noah that he has given the animals to us for meat.

Before the flood everything that moved was vegitarian. After the flood, that all changed.

If we quit eating deer around here, there won’t be any crops left to eat, either. Worldwide vegetarianism just isn’t practical.

I’m sorry, but cigarette smoke smells disgusting. It doesn’t even taste good. It discolors your teeth. It gives you cancer. It lingers in the furniture. It harms those around you.

Oh I don't know, it tastes pretty good with my morning coffee, and a beer in the evening, especially after a nice grilled steak. And there's just something about the smell of a fine pipe or cigar.

The coffee stains my teeth far more the the cigs ever do, and as for harming those around your; I've known some very old people that were born, raised and lived during the age when smoking was everywhere; elevators, airplanes, movie theaters, etc., and either didn't smoke, or were "social smokers" or were chain smokers. Cancer didn't kill em either.

Then there are those that have never smoked, or drank; lived as healthy a lifestyle as they could, and either died of cancer or heart disease or something else.

Life's a crap shoot. Ya roll the dice and takes your chances. So just enjoy what you enjoy and allow others the right to do the same.

Let them take my beef, chicken, whatever, I DGAF! I’ll start eating illegal immigrants if it comes down to it. No shortage of them here in SoCal.
