In all too common fashion for Global Warming alarmists, the Anglican bishop recently employed a pastoral letter to liken dissenters on Global Warming to Josef Fritzl, who fathered seven children by his daughter, who was locked up in the basement across two decades.

It wasn’t long ago that “global warming denial” was up there with Holocaust denial. Now we’re up there with infamous child molesters. How interesting.
Where in the non-christian world is there an outcry for mother earth? Non-christians think the west is looney with all their handwringing and angst over mother earth and the environment.
The Christian world shakes its head and murmurs pity the poor fools to everyone else for not knowing what acute danger they are in for not protecting their 'environment'. China, India gobble up oil resources and Russia and the oil producing states grow fatter and more powerful by the hour.

Amen to that brother. I wouldn't want to be standing anywhere near him when he has to 'splain to the great "I AM" just where he gets off elevating mere men to the level of God in suggesting that humanity could ruin a creation of the Almighty all by our lonesome. That goes double for the idiots who believe in peak oil and that we're going to somehow run out of the stuff when God knew it's importance when he made the world. Peak Oil theorists have been squealing for over fifty years how the sky was falling and yet we keep discovering new fields all the time. It's the enviro-whack-jobs in the RAT party who keep us on the edge of petro-destruction. Gas could have been down to .33 cents a gallon if we'd been drilling Alaska, and off the coasts of FL, Texas, and Cali with the appropriate amount of refineries.
I sorta liked “Gun toting; sister-marrying, non- passport owning, foreigner-despising; self righteous, military-loving, abortion hating, gay loathing-American”, but I fall a little short of that description — only get three hits out of eight.
There are many ramifications of the concept of “stewardship”. It does NOT mean let your farm go back to nature and starve yourself.
That’s some comparison. How can anyone take the Bishop seriously? Now wonder the Muslims are taking over Britain.
Your Holiness, my reading of history indicates that all of our species’ progress has been based on our manipulation of nature. If it weren’t for that, we would be going through the woods naked, eating nuts and berries.
