“Bishop claims environment abusers as bad as sex,” colorfully declared the headline of the Birmingham (England) Post. The May 31 article began: “The Bishop of Stafford has compared people who ignore the effects of climate change to the Austrian child sex monster Josef Fritzl.”
In all too common fashion for Global Warming alarmists, the Anglican bishop recently employed a pastoral letter to liken dissenters on Global Warming to Josef Fritzl, who fathered seven children by his daughter, who was locked up in the basement across two decades.

Child Molesters are the scum of the earth.
People who don't believe in global warming are realists.
The only connection I see is that realists also know child molesters are the scum of the earth.
And they suspect one angry Anglican Bishop is ethically confused - to say the least.
Typical liberal, if you disagree with someone, smear them instead of debate them.
I was actually suggesting the confused bishop is taking the role of a Torquemada. These clowns may be after us some day soon to recant and repent from our evil ways.
The die was cast when the Oxford Movement failed to take hold and drag Anglicanism back to historic Christianity.
Of course, from one point of view, the ‘Bishop’ of Birmingham is just expressing what has become the actual established religion of Great Britain, where everyone reads Dawkins, thinks anthropogenic global warming is a huge problem, and only goes to church when the setting for the Sung Evensong appeals to their aesthetic sensibilities.
