Honolulu (AP) -- The U.S. military says it has intercepted a ballistic missile near Hawaii in a test.
The sea-based test Thursday was the military's first since an errant satellite was shot down earlier this year.
A target was fired from a decomissioned amphibious assault ship about 100 miles off the island of Kauai. It was a Scud-like missile with a range of a few hundred miles.

But, in Barry O’s youtube video he said he wasn’t putting any money into unproven missle programs. This success CAN’T be true!
That is, when he's not busy sharing it with his friends in Israel.
Or, maybe shifting the money into feeding the hungry, healing the sick, providing "GREEN jobs" in order to keep the seas from rising.

The Russian, Chinese and American reds don’t like it, it must be a good thing.
Obama says that he’ll discontinue the missile defense system. And he trusts Iran not to build nuclear bomb tipped missiles.
The unspoken reason we’re doing this is that the military knows North Korea can now hit Hawaii and Alaska with a nuclear missile.
But but..
I this kind of thing wasn’t ever supposed to work!
Like intercepting a bullet with a bullet.
It’s impossible!
And even if you could, the countermeasures to defeat it would be soooooo simple to do.
hmmm yet the Russians, Chinese and others seem upset anyways.
Wouldnt they be happy for us to waste our money on an easily defeated defense system?

Somewhere, right now, some Democrat is angrily railing at the stupidity of our military for shooting down one of our own missiles .
So can China.
Whole lot cheaper, better probability of delivery and no tell-tale development and testing of launch vehicles and launch sites.
How to stop that? Stop their development of the weapon!
Or, put the word out that detonation of a Nuke on US soil will result in the vaporization of Tehran, Mecca, Medina, Islamabad and most of the Pakistan/Afgan border area. Make the “peace loving, moderate muslims” deal with stopping nuclear terrorism.
This post will be labeled “islamophobic” by many, but a phobia is “an intense, unrealistic fear”. What I have said is not particularly intense and definitely not unrealistic.
There are a number of fanatical individuals, backed by the cheering “Muslim street”, who have shown no hesitancy to decapitate captives, blow up innocent people, both “infidels” and fellow Muslims, who will soon pose a nuclear threat. Like the story of the farmer and the mule that would not plow straight, “sometimes you just have to get their attention” to effect behavior change.
Obama: "I will cut investments in unproven missile defense systems, ....I will not weaponize space... I will slow development of future combat systems... I will institute a 'Defense Priorities Board' to ensure the quadrennial defense review is not used ..."
Then, there will be peace in our time without the evil republicans causing war!

But China hasn’t threatened to nuke Hawaii. North Korea has.
