So sorry to read this sad news - about our loss - about Michigander’s family’s loss - about America’s loss of this great patriot and Freeper - Michigander.
To the Babor Family: May the Holy Spirit surround you with His Comfort and Peace at this time of grief and loss for you all.
It is wonderful to read that Bill - Michigander - was (is) a Christian! What a joy, in the midst of sorrow, to know he is with His beloved Savior and Redeemer, the Lord Jesus Christ!
The hurt and pain of losing him all of a sudden like this will take time plus the healing “balm of Gilead”....but He will bind up your broken hearts and make the wounded whole.
God bless you all.
And to “Michigander” - say hello to all the other
Freepers who now make up quite a Heavenly chapter of the Free Republic...
To the Babor family, I know nothing can be said to comfort you now. I, recently, went through a ‘suddenly’. The ONLY comfort is knowing where “Michigander’ is and you will see him again. I enjoyed our ‘Christian’ chat in the past. A fisherman, how appropriate. I pray for God’s supernatural peace for the Babor family.
He's one of the wittiest Michiganders on the board.
You fought the good fight, Bill, and I always knew you had that corner of the state covered.
PS - those were some excellent slabs you were pulling up on the video. Was that out of South Haven or Saint Joe? I thought I recognized some of the beach houses in the background at the beginning, but the outlet canal looked a little bit longer than the one at South Haven.
Love ya, buddy.
No Decision tonight, lets see what happens tomorrow tomorrow their is always tomorrow !!!!

It is really hard when we loose one of our Freepers, I still miss tonkin gulf, and Gretchen. Sorry to hear about Michigander. He will be missed.
I had a massive pulmonary embolism four years ago as a result of a blood clot which formed in a fractured ankle and moved up to the lung three months later.
I was lucky I was experiencing some chest pain and hied myself to the hospital thinking it was the heart. I was told that arriving twenty minutes later and I would have had my own thread on FR.
His family must be devastated at this terrible bolt out of the blue. Heartfelt condolences from a fellow member of the distinguished FR Class of '98 of which he was one of the most distinguished without doubt.

Oh dear, I just saw this.
My most heartfelt condolences to the Michagander family.
Thank you so much for getting his responses posted. I saw him here and there on the forums, but seeing his recent posts gave me a good flavor of the type of person he was.
If I had met him, I think I would have liked him very much. He had a great sense of humor and irony!
May he rest in peace, and his family find comfort.
God rest his soul and prayers for the family.
We will miss you, my friend.
Prayers that Bill is now before the throne of God.
Sorry, late seeing the thread. I remember he had a great sense of humor. Prayers sent.
My prayers will be continuous for his family during this difficult time.
Cyper Patriot Training in the HTML Sandbox... all those wonderful, delightful, fun, and... frustrating threads!!!! They were Michigander!!!!! I have no doubt that there is a special "Boot Camp" in Heaven where Michigander is preparing, training and guiding others for other upcoming "battles." I am so grateful and appreciative to him for all he helped me do and learn in those sand box "lessons." He was many things, but surely at the top of the list he was an absolute patriot dedicated to preserving this great Republic. For that, I am extremely grateful. I hope his family understands the contribution he has made to God only knows how many people. They have much reason to be so very proud of him!
FRegards, Michigander... and God's speed!

Hello Freepers!
I am Michiganders oldest sister and I am not only awed with the responses to this horribly sad news, but I thank all who did find time to reply to all the families.
It is comforting to know that he was well respected here, and that he touched most of the posters with his witty replies, jocularity, and art work. He was a very passionate soul and he threw himself into all that he did.

Or scary.

RIP, Michigander.
God bless.
