Condolences to his family. May you enjoy the open roads paved with gold in your new home, Michigander.
Here are michigander's posts.
Bonnie and Brandi, we here at FR will miss him immensely, but not nearly as much as you. I hope reading his posts here will bring you comfort and smiles through the coming months and years. mich and I used to post back and forth quite frequently in the past, but haven't run into each other much on the threads in the last couple of years. I considered him a friend and an ally.
God Bless

Thanks so much for the explanation. Michigander will be sorely missed. I look forward to joining him in the presence of Christ one day. God bless all his friends and family.
Dear Bonnie and Brandi,
Thank you for your kind post. Yes, we “freepers” often get to “know” each other from exchanging opinions, (hopefully witty) remarks, jokes, funny images... whatever... and Bill was a memorable and smart contributor to this (very popular!) forum.
I feel grateful to have had the opportunity to “talk” here with Bill from time to time.
Best regards, and prayers for your family,
Lancey Howard
Thanks so much for the update, what a shock.
Again, to the family and especially Mrs. Michigander, many prayers for consolation. I’ve been there.
Prayers said.
From Bill’s son:
Please post the attached message, it has a video that my Dad composed that was important to him and us. All this support has been a big help to us, we are constantly updating the page :).
To: Jim Robinson,
I personally want to thank the FR family for all the love and support that we recieved. I was waiting for my sister ( Bonnie ) Bills wife and their daughter, Brandi, to come home after taking all of his pictures to funeral home.
While I was waiting I did a search on google for William Babor and found the Freeper Michigander message. My sister, niece and myself have GREATLY appreciated all of the support that you awsome freepers have sent. Thanks for all the support.
Bill was a christian, great husband, awsome dad, terrific brother inlaw, conservative, fisherman, camper, golfer, bowler, loved to collect knives, and a good friend to me.
Thanks FR family, sincerely,
Tom Staines
If you you would like to contact family, e- mail for Bonnie (Bills wife) baborb@sbcglobal.net Bonnie and Bills daughter (Brandi) bbpowers07@yahoo.com
p.s. If you want to see a video that Bill put together on one of his fishing tournaments go to YouYube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFkqgLcoi-8 [Bill is on the right of the boat]
He put about 20 to 30 hours of video into about 20 minute highlights, He was so proud of this video. We will be playing this continually at the funeral as a celabration of his life. On this video his team ( Miss Shelby ) placed third. If that link doesnt work enter migander on YouTube search.
Thanks again for your support for our family and friends.
My prayers and sympathy for Bill’s family. Rest In Peace, Michigander.
Ping to post above.
May he be bound in the bonds of eternity.
to the family: Prayers up for your comfort and peace.
R.I.P. Michigander
Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted. (Matthew 5:5)
Prayers and graces to the family.
Three years ago, my father stepped out of the shower and fell over dead. I know first hand how painful this is for the family; my heart goes out to them. They will need prayers and support for a long time to come.
Prayers for the Babor family. RIP dear Michigander.
I shall pray for the repose of his soul ( and for his family).
