From something I read somewhere (I have no idea if it’s true) there was a question not as to his name but as to his place of birth. They speculated that he was born in Kenya. Again, take that with a large grain of salt.

While I don't have time to look it up at the present time, my memory seems to remember that B. Hussein himself has given conflicting accounts about how he came by the name Barack: one, he claims he chose the name himself; the second, that his father named him.

My curiosity is that some (most?) birth certificates list a person's religion and his might list his at the time as "Mooslimb" which WOULD cause him some problems.
