If I were running for POTUS, my birth records would be off limits. Just because he doesn't vote like me doesn't mean I'm entitled to every tiny detail of his life.
It is because of the demands for purity by people like you that qualified candidates with an (R) in the voting book won't run for office.
We, obviously, don’t have enough demands for purity as evidenced by Jimmah Carter, Bubba Clintoon, Nancy Pelosi, John Kerry, Jack Murtha, Harry Reid, Barbara Boxer, Dianne Feinstein and the rest of the corrupt elitists with dubious backgrounds. Had their backgrounds been scrutinized more throughly, they wouldn’t have served any office other than janitor.
Has he proved that he can legally run for office?
Well, I am sure you would have to show it to someone to prove you were eligible to run for office, or not?
I know a family here who were all born in India who are not citizens. Their Kids have no accent because they lived here all their lives, came as little kids and went to American schools, but their parents never became citizens and neither did the kids. So how would you know they were eligible to run for Potus if not for a birth certificate.
This has probably already been posted by now, but...the Founders made it a requirement that the President should be born an American citizen.
It certainly does not seem unreasonable to me that a candidate for THAT Office ought to be required to produce evidence that it is the case that one is actually an American.
