I notice he’s never signed up to serve his country. What a wimp! :p
To: chessplayer
He’s not sorry...he’s just afraid that he PO’d the wrong people. Turns out, as regards his own (sickening) convictions, he’s the wimp.

Any guy who would act in a movie called, “My Best Friend’s Wedding” has got to be a wussie.

I never remember these things names. But I am remembering this pricks name, and will make a conscious decision to never, ever go pay money to support any project this puke is on. Rupert Everett. Got it.

I'm always amused by the claim that “modern” soldiers just lob bombs from 30,000 ft.
Ignoring the ignorance of modern combat, they haven't a clue that most of the combat deaths in WWI and WWII were due to indirect artillery, which was fired from much greater than 30,000 ft away.

Rupert couldn’t pass a “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy because you wouldn’t even have to ask.

What is a boycott supposed to achieve? Usually, it is done to affect change, and I could understand if he was unrepentent about what he said, but he has already apologised. Can anyone here say they have never said something crass, offensive and stupid in their lifetime?

I been boycotting his stuff for years and didn't even know it. I have never heard of this guy or his movies before he made these idiotic comments. I hope it's the last time I hear anything about him.

From the age of 7 he was educated at Farleigh School, Hampshire, and later was educated by Benedictine monks at Ampleforth College, Yorkshire, but he dropped out of school aged 15 and ran away to London to become an actor. In order to support himself, he worked as a male prostitute, or “rent boy”, for drugs and money as he later admitted to US magazine in 1997.[2] After being dismissed from the Central School of Speech and Drama for insubordination, he travelled to Scotland and got a job at the Citizens’ Theatre in Glasgow.
