Democrat voter drive investigated for fraud

Louisiana's top election official has launched an investigation into a voter registration drive by the Washington-based Voting is Power organization, which is sponsored by the Muslim American Society and was hired by Democrats, after registrars were "flooded" with fake forms, including a couple for a gentleman named George W. Bush.

Secretary of State Jay Dardenne said this week he already has met with Voting Is Power, which has a stated goal of signing up millions of Muslims to vote in U.S. elections, and the discussions were cordial.

He said he's seeking information about the company's methodology and information on why so many voter registration applications turned out to be incomplete, duplicates, or just plain fraudulent.

According to a report from the Associated Press, the Washington-based VIP was hired by national Democrats to register up to 70,000 new voters before this fall's election.

But Dardenne said the organization's drives in Shreveport, Baton Rouge, New Orleands and Jefferson Parish resulted in "piles of sketchy applications" that demanded investigators' time.

The result, he said, was "busy work that is not leading to productive registration of voters," according to the AP.

Bloggers were having a good time with the allegations about the registrations of Bush and others.

"With an effort this big there's always going to be glitches and problems along these lines," Brian Welsh, a spokesman for Democrats' Louisiana Victory 2008, said.

A glitch for the socialist Democrats means they've been caught submitting fraudulent voter registration forms.

"I wonder why a Muslim organization with links to the Muslim Brotherhood is hired by the Democratic National Party. I wonder why Barack Obama is the choice of Hamas," he wrote.

The reason is the socialist Democrats consider our Representative Democracy as the enemy and a threat to their goal of replacing it with a strong centralized form of government and therefore believe in the credo the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

Legislation should be passed that stipulates that any first time voter cannot use an absentee ballot - their first vote should be in person.

Probably should apply to dead voters too....

Muslim group called Voting is Power. Yep, the Muslims are certainly very involved in this election campaign. Between this news and yesterday's SCOTUS ruling for the terrorists in Gitmo, the Muslim world must be laughing their heads off.

Criticism of the Council on American-Islamic Relations

The above has summarized some criticism of CAIR, including their laughable population claims, which I regularly hear repeated in the media and on FoxNew tonight. They weren't challenged on this lie on Fox where just let it slip by.

Take a look at the crackpot methodology that CAIR uses(From the Wiki Link):

"..

Muslim population statistics

The American Jewish Committee as well as several demographers have questioned CAIR about its estimate that there are seven million Muslims in America. Other estimates of the Muslim population have ranged from 1.5 to 3.4 million.

In a November 24, 2001 article in the Washington Post, CAIR's methodology was described thus:

"Researchers called the nation's 1,209 known mosques and interviewed leaders at 416 of them. Respondents were asked to estimate the number of people involved in their mosque in any way. The average response was 1,625 participants. Multiplying that figure by the 1,209 mosques, lead researcher Ihsan Bagby determined there were two million 'mosqued Muslims' in the United States.
"Bagby, a professor of international relations at Shaw University in Raleigh, N.C., multiplied that number by three to account for people who identify themselves as Muslims but might not participate in mosque activities. He calls this multiplier an educated guess based on years of observation of the Islamic community.
"CAIR's Awad, asked why his group settled on an estimate of seven million in its press statements rather than Bagby's range of six million to seven million, said the organization had used six million for six years. "If we still used the number six," he said, "people would say, 'Haven't we grown?' " [29]

“democrat voter drive investigated for fraud...”

democrats can never be guilty of fraud or any western, bourgois concept like that.

anything they do to further the revolution is never immoral, is always correct, right and totally moral. those who stand in the way are fodder, those who perceive it are condemned to endless criticism and harassment.

“nothing to see here, move on....”

imho

Laws concerning voter fraud need to be greatly strengthened for numerous reasons. We've got tens of millions of illegals walking the streets, inner city vote machines that churn out non existent people from thin air, now we've got mussies angling in on the action to try to influence the conduct of the War on Terror. This is one toxic brew and it needs to be dumped as soon as possible.

The Democrats have their own position on Muslim terrorism. It’s called neutrality. It’s exactly what you’d expect from this incredibly stupid, chicken-shit party.

An entirely sensible idea - which is why it'll never see the light of day.

On the newspaper site, an anonymous poster identified as Elliott expressed a high level of concern over those doing the signature collections.

"I wonder why a Muslim organization with links to the Muslim Brotherhood is hired by the Democratic National Party. I wonder why Barack Obama is the choice of Hamas," he wrote.

"Whether through violent or economic means, losing our identity in submission to this minority will prove our national undoing. The fault is not with Islam. The fault is our losing our traditional biblical moorings, the foundation upon which our republic was built!" he continued.

Elliott, are you a FReeper?
