We could institute a new official goobermint foreign worker program for Mechichans:

For every 100 gallons you bring with you across the border, you can work legally in the U.S. for one month. But you MUST sell the gasoline to Amurricans at the current Mechicho price.

Ah...but perhaps, you GET what you pay for? (buyer beware)

Remember Mexican pharmaceuticals? Mexican water? Building Codes? Air Pollution? Waterways Pollution? Need I go on?

I guess this is kind of like buying prescription drugs from South of the border... far less regulation and taxes on the fuel...thus it is cheaper?

Does it really cost 60% of what it does here to produce gasoline?

I travel a fair bit to MX. My contacts there have always remarked on the poor quality of PEMEX petro. You might check up on this to ensure the life of your engine is not neg impacted.

I’d need to put about 5 more gas filters on my car before I used that Mexican gas.

I thought the high gas prices were due to limited supply, so how can Mexico possibly have cheaper gas, do they have more supply? /sarcasm

” a drama teacher at an elementary school “
WHAT? Why on earth does an elementary school have a drama teacher? That’s an important subject? Gimme a break!

It’s not worth it. How much gas do they waste idling in line at the border crossing waiting to get back in? San Ysidro and Otay Mesa don’t exactly have short wait times.

People are doing what they have to do to make it. Going across is happening at all the border towns. Expect the government to put higher car taxes on Americans driving back across soon. They can’t have this. Can’t have people happy. Must have laws...laws... and more laws. It was just like after 911. The BP was mandated to watch for.....Cipro....coming across.
