If you don’t care about your fuel injection or having a good running car buy Mexican. It’s not good gas. May as well pick up some tomatoes too.
I usually buy Chevron for my newer vehicles. It costs a few cents more, but really is the best.

Educate me please. Why is Chevron best? I just buy the best price which is usually at my local Walmart’s Murphy Oil pumps or the HEB grocery pumps.

Yes, I have been in the oil and gas industry my entire adult life, and I agree. While almost all US gasoline is decent, Chevron gas with Techron really IS the BEST. And low-octane Mexican gas, often contaminated with water due to poor storage conditions, is the WORST.

Chevron with that cleaning agent in it...yep, that’s what I heard too.
