They just had a case in West Virginia (I believe) where Catholic Charities sent a 16 yr old Guatemalan girl off for an abortion. The bishops have, of course, “issued a statement.” But no heads have rolled, to my knowledge.
Catholic Charities is a left-wing group that pays no attention to Catholic teaching. Many of the hospital boards and management are the same way, and because they receive federal money for abortion and sterilization, it’s fine with them.
Nothing’s going to happen until the bishops fire people, if those people are under their command, or sever ties with the institutions if they wont punish these employees and change their policies.
It was in Richmond, and the four employees involved have been fired.
